DMC2 was a complete joke. It didnt even feel like a DMC game. The controls sucked, Dante looked like Kevin Kosner, it was just bad. You even fight an evil tank as a boss.....yeah.

Also finished the Witcher. Great game, one of the better RPG's recently. Dragged a bit though in some spots, yet the story and characters made up for it.

That Trico video was nice. The animation was superb but that creature design was horrid. Stone temples were weirdly angular. Reminded me of a Boom Blox puzzle weirdly.

This wasn't a trailer. This was never meant for public view.  It's footage probably from a pre-alpha stage using placeholder music and assets that weren't supposed to be released. You'll have to wait for a real trailer for controls and level design to be shown up.

 Word.  When you know the context, this video is amazing.  None of this was meant to be seen outside of Sony.  The kid's character model is either a placeholder, or just very very early with a lot of shaders not turned on, the music is from Miller's Crossing.

I like the theory over on GAF that our little baby bird/rat/dog will grow up as you progress through the game.  I want to see his wings grow and become functional.

So you agree that it looks like crap, just a high level of crap relative to the expected suckiness of alpha-level development.
