Case and point what I listed above. "But that's evil megacorpration stuff!!!" Too bad. Welcome to 2009 guys, the gaming world has evolved and went from a mere toy to a product and a product of business at that. If you want company's like Capcom, Activisions, or EA to TRULY support your system you have to pay them. This is how it's been ever since the Playstation erupted the market as SONY practically paid for the entire development of Final Fantasy VII, as well as made deals to gather the whole Square-Enix dynasty, as well as tossing their hats to Capcom to make the powerhouse known as Resident Evil, and God knows what else.
It seems to me that Nintendo, like many other things, is just behind the times. Yes they did this with Dragon Quest X and Monster Hunter 3 but this is a case of something really big being too late and they're only really big in Japan. The only third parties will flock to the Wii if their games will create more money for them then them being on both the PS3 and 360 as well as the money Microsoft and SONY is paying them to stay on their consoles. Oh and let's not forget things like keeping the third parties informed about what's going on and their products.
One of the site's forefathers.
Play fighting games!
Whats going on this week guys I have been on a one track mind so far, I have no clue what is going on other than RE5.
Hey Steel, I helped scan a man's balls today. Thought you'd like to know.
Podcast, listen to it NOW!!
Thankfully there's only been one 10, so it might not be as bad as GTAIV.
As well as that, a reworked version will appear in the upcoming sequel.
EB of all people are holding a nice little sale, and I was thinking of picking up Crysis Warhead and The Witcher Collectors Edition (supposedly it's the CE) for $50.
It's a 900MB patch (and you can download all the extra stuff, like the soundtrack for free), but you need to register...I think.
But yes, you can. Though I'd try find a copy of the EE first. Granted, you'll pay more, but at least you'll have all the stuff you otherwise wouldn't get with the regular game. Plus, it saves on your download limit.
Which is just the short story isn't it?
I get the feeling I really wouldn't like it, so I'm not really too bothered. And if it actually was the collector's edition, I'd be getting a decent range of stuff that I wouldn't get with the EE anyway. (I think just an artbook and a DVD, actually). So yeah, hard to argue with $25.
That's depressing. I mean also pre-Wii even money hatting, they weren't in a good position to expect exclusives. But financially, with the success you would have expected more.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By Scan you mean rubbed right?
Hmm, NG Sigma 2? So this is NG2 upgraded?
I kinda feel bad the way the PS3 is treated by Tecmo with these old Sigma games but yet, it's still quality support, just late.
Seriously though what is up with these Indy screens?
This is art I guess
What utter shite.
Oh cool, Marble Saga AKA Kororinpa 2 has custom balls
Level editors, more levels, Wiiconnect 24, Balance board support too.
If it weren't for Boom Blox 2 I might have got this.
Short Story, a rewriten manual and game guide, a making of DVD and TWO music CDs - that's what I got in the EE.
Sold.
At 0:54 he says "Boombox" instead of "Boomblox". I just found this amazing that they didn't even bother doing another take.
Nope we first have to ban IGN editorials, then we can talk indy!
Ugh, crappy PC cant post the rest of the Dead Space pics
Lucky dog!

IGN: When you unveiled Dead Space Extraction, you revealed it is an on-rails shooter – a truth that disappointed some fans. What would you say to skeptics fearful that the end experience will be less interactive than Dead Space was on 360?
Steve: When we announced the game I was amazed at the passion Dead Space fans had for the franchise. I would tell the Skeptics that our team is passionate about innovation. Extraction is going to include all of the mechanics that made Dead Space a memorable experience: Stasis, Telekinesis, Strategic Dismemberment, and Zero-G . Our game is going to also deliver on some all new features, like Co-op, that really involves both players. Expect cooperative puzzles, brand new weapons, new characters, new enemies, new bosses, new story, and new locations. Our goal is to create an all new experience on the Nintendo Wii that feels custom built for that platform, and I think we are on track to do that.
That's some sweet PR
