God I love PC gaming.
Just about to start writing up some notes for this weeks podcast. We need one/two more participants. We've got Vader, Foolz and myself...who else wants in? Yoda? Yarco?
I'd also love someone new...
CAPCOM:
"For the past year, every time Capcom showed either Resident Evil 5 or Street Fighter 4, we were asked the same question:
"Is this game coming out for the Wii?"
However, the moment we announce that one of our newest major franchises, Dead Rising, is on its way to the Wii, we've been met with some negativity from some hardcore gaming sites. We've been forced to take a step back and reevaluate our strategies. Is it confusion on the part of those clamoring for Wii games? Have we really been working hard on a game no one wants? Or is there something else going on, something that hasn't happened in our industry before?"
No shit, making shoddy, cheap ports years later is a bad move. Who would have thought? The Capcom marketing manager then tries to paint it as jealous or angry multiplatform owners or casual vs hardcore. "Everyone should be able to play this game, why should we deny them?" Er... right so where are your versions of other games? DMC4, RE5? SFIV? Dark Void? And he pretends that this game is a "re-working totally from the ground up" when the games producer fucking said that he was downgrading 360 assets for use in the game?
So far this year Capcom's confirmed Wii games are Moto GP and Chop till you Drop.
I hope Spyborgs has been re-done well because this PR piece just digs a larger gulf between sales suits and gamers. It's not hard to see where they went wrong: make an original Dead Rising game, not a stop gap while they work on Dead Rising 2 for every platform apart from Wii.
Woah I'm really digging those X-blade pics. This game was certainly a game that was flying under my radar but I'm keeping an eye on it now. It may turn out to be something I'll really want to get.
The WKS story pics are looking very nice as well. This was a game I was always interested in so I'll probably get it when I finally get around to picking up a PS3 if Sony do a price cut around April/May.
Ah, Aspro you don't have to click through 60 pages there are 5-7 listings on each page. I posted the whole thing in the forum, all of it, pics words etc a couple of hours ago.
Wahhhhhh! I'll click back
Demons Soul PS3 pics.
Is that a massive vagina with a tongue coming out of it?
Guys get a room!!!
Since you got a PC he's been avoiding you. Penis envy, his PC looks flaccid next to yours.
Angry Beaver has the same problem, penis envy because he has a Beaver. I challenge them to post through mockery!
This guy has a big one.
OMG, that's a...big brown beaver.
Les Claypool is the man.
Just killed any interest I had in the game, Thank You Very Much!
I shall take up this very intriguing sport instead!
They are highly skilled and trained.
Demon Vagina gets a 29/40 at Famitsu.
...but...
It's clear the generally middle-of-the-road Famitsu came down on Demon's Souls for its hardcore challenge, but it's worth noting rival publication Dengeki PlayStation had a more favorable opinion, giving the game 85/95/85/85. One reviewer even dubbed it "my game of the year so far... fans of old-school games will shed tears of joy."
Suddenly, I am interested again.
Brilliant.
The tongue is supposed to go INTO it, not come OUT OF it.
