Okay new week!
What have you guys been doing?
I played Brawl a little, the rest was wasted on studying
What better way to start a new week off by having peopel answer a question of mine?
One of the site's forefathers.
Well, thanks to Yoda, I got a 40% TRU discount on two 2000 Wii Points Cards, so they only cost $24 plus tax instead of $40 I'd normally have to pay. Woot!
I also picked up Geometry Wars Galaxies (Wii) for $10. I didn't intend to buy any games, but that price was just too good to pass up. I've played it for a half hour and it rocks! It's a lot better than plain old Retro Evolved (which is also included). The highscore, arcade nut in me will be going crazy for quite a while with this one.
I'm still playing the 2nd go of Mario Galaxy. I now have 51 stars, so I'm almost halfway through it again.
Wiki to the rescue
In 1988, the manga was published in the United States by Epic Comics, a division of Marvel Comics. This colorized version ended its 38-issue run in 1995. The coloring was by Steve Oliff, hand-picked for the role by Otomo. Oliff persuaded Marvel to utilise computer coloring, and Akira became the first ongoing comic book to feature computer coloring. The coloring was more subtle than that seen before and far beyond the capabilities of Japanese technology of the time. It played an important part in Akira's success in Western markets, and revolutionised the way comics were colorized
The work was later reprinted in paperback from 2000 to 2002 by Dark Horse Comics, this time in black and white, although Otomo's painted color pages were utilised minimally at the start of each book as in the original manga.
Punk get the one in colour. (The 1988 one)
I've been playing Tales of Vesperia. I beat it once already a few days ago but there is still so much to do like some sidequests, fighting optional boss monsters, completing the monster and item books by finding them all, getting all the cooking recepies and mastering them, playing the EX game mode, numerous achievements, etc. It really is an excellent game. Took me a little over 60 hours just to beat it once.
Awesome Predator/Duck Hunt gif btw.
Indeed.
Thanks. Well the color one is $3 and the new one is $30...decisions decisions.

Excellent LBP review. I pretty much agree with everything they stated and I am glad to hear the single player has incredible levels.
Neogaf makes awesome gifs.
Well, the superior one is also 10 times cheaper. Not really a hard choice!
Yeah, Neogaf is already freaking out about the score. Why not a 10 they say! And than compare it with Halo 3 and stuff. Stupid, the review was very positive, they even compared it with Yoshi's Island. YI is argueably the best 2D platformer. That's like the biggest compliment you can make.
Only played De Blob.
Yeah I literally just finished "My Neighbor Totoro". It is good and a classic but not as good as say "The Lion King", "Finding Nemo", or "Spirited Away". Next up is "Kiki's Devliery Service".
One of the site's forefathers.
I finished The Darkness.
I wish MGS4 would get here!
No idea, I'm not even sure which one I read, heh. If I borrow it again I'll tell you.
Gamereactor LBP reviews:
Gamereactor Finland - 10/10
Gamereactor Denmark -10/10
Gamereactor Sweden - 10/10
LBP is the first game to get 10/10 from all of GR's branches
I'm getting pretty tired of every big release being this best-game-ever 10s across the board reaction everywhere. It's ridiculous at this point.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileI officially give World of Goo a 10!
It's the Best Game Ever!
I've been playing Bleach: Dark Souls.
Oh man, good game...but really fucking short....
Just ordered it online. I assumed it would be short because it IS a fighting game after all.
Agreed.
So far we've had: Bioshock, Super Mario Galaxy, Metal Gear Solid 4, Grand Theft Auto 4, and now Little Big Planet.
What's next?
One of the site's forefathers.
Don't forget Call of Duty 4, Halo 3, and the Orange Box.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileWell, I just learnt that I need to beat the game again - there's a few things I need to unlock. I did the first run in about three hours. Game's good though - though it uses a tonne of assets from Blade of Fate. Granted, you can understand why, but it's still fun.
Is Hitsugaya overpowered now? That's the impression I got from the Dark Souls forum on GS.
I also hear that Gin and Tousen suck now, and that Matsumoto has crap range and is slow with attacks (Bleach fan Angry_Beaver am cry). And Yachiru... TRIPS?! Did Sakurai have a hand in this?! XD
