But I don't want serious Sam lol
GG Doom still has good level design. Yeah some levels are way more spread out but there are plenty of nooks and crannies with secrets to make it feel fun. The large flat levels serve to put loads of enemies on screen which is where the serious Sam comparisons come in.
I've played it for a couple hours so far tonight. It has Quake, Painkiller and Serious Sam DNA for sure. It's a LOT of fun. Finally, 90s PC FPS' return!
I'm currently playing A Link to the Past. Is there any other Zelda game as polished as this one?
It is repetitive but there's quite a bit to the parry mechanics that keep the battles interesting. id has toned down the default difficulty too. I'm playing on "Hurt Me Plenty" and I haven't died once yet. Theres lots of options to make it harder, though. It's a great stress relief game after a long, hard work week, lol.
Graphically, it's looks great but it also looks artistically less appealing than Eternal on PS5. It's plays quite differently from Eternal too. No crazy platforming; Glory kill are mostly gone. Controlling mechs is cool.
Switch 2 only supporting VRR in handheld mode is so stupid. WTF, Nintendo? Fix it.
They might be able to patch it, but DF is saying the hdmi display port in the dock might not be compliant.
Seems a touch ridiculous if they planned VRR as a screen function but forgot to update the dock to use it on a tv.
Some have some of it but are missing other bits.
He sounded like he was saying that they will be selective over where they put games. And support won't mean every game coming over, to Switch 2 or other platforms.
I think GTA 6 was to be inferred here. We also have the rumor yesterday that RDR 2 and GTAIV and V might be popping up on switch 2 this year or later.
Here's the part of the interview that was intresting to me:
[Third-party games often find it harder to succeed on Nintendo platforms…
That is true. Historically, Nintendo has done a better and more supportive job with first-party titles. But I think they are aiming to change that. And we have basically risen to the challenge and opportunity, and we’ll see how it goes. We voted with our feet. Nintendo has asked us to be supportive, and we do believe we’re doing that. Now we will see what happens.]
I feel rdr2 is a given and the rumored GTA4 remaster.
If the Series S can get GTA6, then why not NS2? Hey, which is why there is a delay.
I bet there isn't enough internal storages space on the Series S to install the entire game let alone on Switch 2.
It'll be under 200gigs.....of updates.
Yeah, I’m expecting the file size for GTA 6 to be MASSIVE.
Played some of it awhile ago and yeah, pretty weird game. Not really sure how I felt about the game in general though. Kind of want to go back to it sometime to play more.
Way better than switch 2 and it seems like a cpu reliant game.
Switch seems fine with most games, that youtuber using a simulated laptop got Black Myth wukong at 45 to 50gps and Cyberpunk at 40fps.
But some games won't work.
I don't mind a pared back experience for gta 6 if I at least get to play it.
My friend bought a digital only PS5. He only buys like 3 games a generation and doesn't care if they're playable 15 years from now or not.
After playing Doom DA most of the afternoon, I've kicked back over to Oblivion this evening. Oblivion feels absolutely chill by comparison.
What is up with Bungie stealing art again? Will they make this right or just ignore?
