I started Murder on the Orient Express, this is next level stuff. Adventure games taken to the glorious opulent splendour of the Orient Express itself. I'm often grinning from ear to ear playing this.
It's awesome, in Quirots cabin if you look around you can find and inspect the wax, scissors and curling tongs.
He's much better in this game, raining down one liners in his Belgian accent. At one point he refuses an offer from a wealthy businessman "I do not like your face".
Sounds boring but it's totally epic in the accent and in the context of the conversation. I spent the next few hours saying to everyone around me, including my surviving cat.
There's also this guy who uses essential oils for toothache rather than painkillers, which I help find for him. After this he lies to me in questioning and at the end he ends up faking toothache again.
At which Quirot says "I'm afraid this time you will have to find your own clove oil" with disgust
Pretty cool list. All I ever heard during the N64 and GC years were many people dumping on Nintendo so its odd to see how good their sales were then.
I fully enjoyed the N64 and Gamecube. I preferred the N64 until Partappa and Gran Turismo 2 came out and supported GC whenever a game was on the platforms.

It's freaking COLD here! -2°F (-19C) at 11am where I live in Colorado is not all that common. It's so cold even my dog isn't begging me to take her for a walk today or yesterday.
You know I was going to complain that's in the 50's in Florida (with humidity so that actually amplifies the cold). But I think at -2 you have it worse.
-2C is a mild day in winter for us here. Today it’s -6 and feels like -13 wind chill. Going to be -11 to -16 for the next week during the day. Around -20 or so at night.
This weekend I completed Bioshock 1 and moved right on to Bioshock 2. I seem to have false memories about the two games. I thought I dressed as a Big Daddy in order to lure a Little Sister in the second game when I was, in fact, a Big Daddy all along in that one. I also remembered the big twist in the first game coming near the end but once it was revealed, I actually was only about halfway through.
Visually, Bioshock 2 does look a little better. Animations are smoother and I'm happy that I can use my plasmids and weapons at the same time. Its the one I remembered the least so I am looking forward to the story.
This week played Slay the Spire and Katamari Damacy Reroll (a remake of the original game). Both excellent. I'm going to have to ponder on why I like Slay the Spire so much.

Murder on the Orient t express does have its flaws.
You don't have access to a Phoenix Wright style court record, so sometimes it throws questions at you without giving you access to the evidence. So of you weren't paying attention and didn't commit it to memory, you won't get the question right. It has a hint system though.
There's also some object puzzles that border on being too difficult for a variety of reasons. One puzzle threw me into it, the hint was wrong and because of that finding the answer was impossible. Saw how to do it online, but you would expect an in game hint to be correct.
Another puzzle looks like your standard, shift this switch and other switch turns off. The aim being to have all switches and indicator lights on, right??
Nope. There are 3 sets of 3 switches with no feedback as to if you're on the right track. And experimenting was impossibly slow as you had to walk between 4 different action points, slowly.
Again, with no feedback as to what the switches were actually doing.

I preferred Bioshock 2 over 1. It was teh one made in Australia, back when we had a game development industry here.

How glorious is Poirot's mustache?

Yep, The Thousand Year Whore was an insta-classic.

💯
The real mini-golf simulator?

That's terrible.
