I've played and loved golf games since the TRS-80, but the last few year have been rough, rough I tell ya.

The last golf game I got for the Switch was from 2K and it completely sucked requiring online, even in career mode, and always with the upsells.

The best most recent golf game, which I can always go back to is XSN Sports Links for the Xbox. Second is Tiger Woods for Wii.  There are some good ones on PSP as well, but golf has been a shitshow the last decade.

I started with Atari 2600 Golf. I think I paid $1 for it at a yard sale. Not a good game by any means, but I still have some nostalgia for it.

I miss Edgecrusher, He has been gone a while.

I noticed that heโ€™s no longer on my friends list on the Switch, and other systems.

What happened? I mean I saw his last post, but did he leave for a specific reason?

I reached out to him a couple months after he left the site the first time, and in so many words he basically said he didn't enjoy hanging out on the page anymore. Then about 6 months or a year later he came back and made that Joe Biden/Animal Crossing post and that was that.

I can only take it at face value that he left because he was done with the page, but it's hard not to speculate that politics played a role. Certainly wouldn't be the first person that left a social group over the subject.

What we need is a good old-fashioned intergalactic threat to bring people back together.

I read that as intergalactic thread and my interest was definitely piqued. It was also, soon after, enormously let down...

By the way, just in case you need something to do this weekend, Randy Quaid has a sextape out. You know, just in case you wanted to watch one of his movies, but you've seen ID4 too many times already and you feel weird watching Christmas Vacation any other time outside of the actual holiday.

An intergalactic thread would be nice. I love that song.

It's why I never went in that thread. It was a bad idea. Politics is certainly not worth losing friends over.

I played NES Xevious for the first time last night. It's quite good. I ended up playing it much longer than I'd intended. Xevious is my second favorite shoot 'em up of all time (Galaga being first). I grew up with the Atari 7800 version, and I prefer it, but the NES port is vsolid. ๐Ÿ‘

I'd potentially lose friends if they were actively involved in certain things in regards to politics. It's a bit sad (I mean that in the simple sense of the word) losing friends over cheerleading for a political team, though.

So Mortal Kombat is rebooting itself the same way Xbox did with their system last Gen.
