You're paid a nickel every time you put out a contrary opinion aren't you? I see that as a more likely scenario than someone actually willingly defending Batman and robin.

If only. Unfortunately, the paid shills are objectively those who support lame critical consensuses, such as this one.

Additionally, the only entertaining Nolan Batman film is the last one, because at least it's unintentionally hilarious. Ledger's performance is good, though. But the film he's in is equivalent to Batman and Robin minus the gay kitsch, so it's as bad as Batman and Robin would be if all it had going for it was Uma Thurman.

Some guy modded AMD's FSR 2.0 ai upscaler into Cyberpunk 2077.  Apparently it's pretty easy to mod FSR 2.0 support into games that use Nvidea's DLSS.  This could be huge for PC gamers, as DLSS is only available to users with an RTX graphics card, but FSR will run on any graphics card, including Steam Deck.

Makes you wonder if AMD made it easy to be modded in to DLSS games on purpose.

Epic Mickey 1 was only released on the Wii. I still own it and the sequel.

I hope Disney remasters both games someday.

Serious question. How does Canada celebrate Canada day? In the US it's barbecues (which o love) and fireworks (which I loathe). I can't imagine it's quite the same, but honestly I have no clue.

Maybe other people have different answers in different parts of the country, but I never found Canada Day to really be a themed holiday, but just a day off work. The only thing I associate with it is the Blue Jays playing the Canada day game in red.

It might have to do with Canadian culture being significantly defined by contrasting with Americans, so anything that resembles the stereotypical July 4 USA-USA-USA loud celebration where everybody does the same thing just isn't Canada's style of multicultural do-your-own-thing and quiet judgment (we're mostly nationalistic about hockey). You do get fireworks, though, and they suck.

Yeah, I know this country has a patriotism fetish that's not seen in too many other places, so I figured flag waving, country music, and hour-long firework displays might not be on the agenda.

Anyway, thanks for the explanation. I guess happy Canada Day to anyone who is celebrating it. Smoke 'em if you got 'em.

Hey Leo, I know you're out there lurking somewhere. If you're around, I need an opinion on the Y's games. Specifically Y's VIII and IX. Both are on PS plus and appear to be pretty highly rated. Do you recommend one over the other? I don't think I'm going to have the time or attention span to play through both of them, so I just like to go to whichever one might be the easiest to get into.

Pretty laid back here. Kind of a typical summer holiday vibe. Barbecues, beer, and just relaxing with family and friends. We do have fireworks as well.

Maple syrup may or may not be involved.

I liked both a lot, but I think I would recommend Monstrum Nox more for the battle system. If I remember correctly there was a bit more filler in Lacrimosa in the gathering of resources and building of your home town. I finished both but i found Nox a bit more fun.

No traveling here. Honestly I'm just looking forward to a day of just hanging around the house and doing nothing.
