I've been playing the first few phrases of Fantasia in D Minor by Teleman, as well as Christmas Day Secrets, which was the most awkward piece I've learnt so far (much harder than Fantasia in D Minor, but I assume it will get a lot harder as I learn more of it) as the composition didn't really have any natural cues in it. The first phrase is extremely fun, though; well worth the pain of learning it.
I spent my weekend at a horror convention but my wife got sick and went to the ER so no that kind of killed that. On the happier side of things I met one of the most famous softcore porn directors of all time, so that was pretty cool.
I didn't play anything either. But the wife didn't get sick, so that's that. Then again, I also didn't meet any softcorn porn directors. So the verdict is still out about how succesfull a weekend it was .
Thanks. She has a chronic illness called cyclical vomiting syndrome (CVS), which is just as unpleasant as it sounds. To sum up, your brain chemistry is messed up enough that it tells your stomach it needs to throw up and then not stop for any length of time between 30 minutes to 4 or 5 hours. Anyway, she had an attack and recovery usually takes a couple days so that's that.
But yeah, getting to meet Fred Olan Ray was really cool. The guy has pretty much done anything you can do with a budget of less than $50,000 per film. He's done a lot of cheesy sci-fi movies, softcore porn, and currently makes a lot of those Christmas movies that show up on the Hallmark and lifetime channel in december.
I bought one of his movies that was kind of a step in between the low budget sci-fi and porn called Evil Toons. It was basically the answer to everyone who watched Who Framed Roger Rabbit and said, "this would be a lot better if there were boobs."
Omg that sounds horrible. Hope your wife gets better.
Heads up guys, Team Bloober, or is it Blooper? Games are on sale on switch. Layers of Fear is very cheap, I hear its a decent first person horror experience game and the port is good. Layers of Fear 2 is also on sale but not much of a discount. The Observer, that Rutger Hauer cyberpunk game is only £6.70ish
It's kind of weird in that it goes in cycles where it happens more frequently and other times it's almost dormant. She's got some medicines that help control it when things aren't bad, but for the last month she's been in a bad cycle where we end up going to the emergency room for an IV and drugs. At times she's gone almost 2 years without a really bad episode, and then there are times like where we are right now where she has been in the emergency room three times and just over a month.
Sounds like this Switch Online Expansion Pass isn’t going too well with performance and online connectivity issues of the N64 games. My subscription ends on the 29th of November. Nintendo even has it down to the very specific hour and even minute for when I subscribed.
I’m just going to stick with the standard subscription for now. It’s $25 Canadian where as the full service is $64. There are a couple of games that I’d like to play such as Yoshi’s Story and a couple of Genesis games plus I’d like to get the Animal Crossing dlc but I can just purchase that separately. Just not worth what Nintendo is asking.
I already own most of those Expansion Pak games on Wii U, Switch and Playstation. Zero incentive for me. Banjo Kazooie is the only one that would be nice to play but it isn't even out yet on that service.
I will grab the expansion pack when my regular Nintendo online account is getting ready to expire. I don't mind paying a prorated fee for it of five or six dollars.
Honestly, I think that was the biggest mistake Nintendo made with it. If they offered it as a $5 a month upgrade that you can cancel at any time, you'd probably have people signing up for it. Hell, they probably would have even made more money with it. Most people not only would sign up for it, but they probably forget it was part of their subscription and keep it longer then they intended period
I played Ducktales and some Darkwing Duck (PS4/NES).
i also bought Crysis 2 Remastered (PS4). I remember enjoying Crysis 1 on PS3. Crysis 2, however, isn't nearly as much fun. Boring actually.
Oh well. Back to Ducktales!

I’ve been playing Tales of Arise on Xbox One and Metroid Dread on Hard Mode. Also played some of the original Metroid for that nostalgia kick.

I hope your wife is doing better, Robio.

So how often does she get that? Sounds pretty awful. And tiring. Vommiting is tiring.
Oh jeez, that sounds terrible there Robio. Wishing you and your wife well.

I knew bringing in Bowser was a big mistake.
I miss Reggie.
Does she get nausea, too, Robio? That'd be the icing cake. Hope she can have a couple more years without any symptoms soon!
Yeah, we still don’t have Mother 3.
