Reggie seems to have only collected a bunch of clusterfucks of his own after he left nintendo. They might not want him back.

Yeah, we still don’t have Mother 3. angry

Fun fact. The company I work for was founded in 1996, the same year the Nintendo 64 launched. So to celebrate our 25th anniversary for an upcoming trade show, we are actually going to bring a switch with an N64 controller for people to play while they visit our booth.

So Layers of Fear Legacy by team Bloober.

Only because its super cheap and near Halloween would I recommend it. Otherwise nah. There's no proper introduction or cutscene. You are dropped into a fairly uninteresting mansion.

It's like a walking simulator, reminds me of Gone Home. Nothing to do but walk, open doors and occasional cupboards and drawers; most of which have nothing in them. Infrequently you will get a jump scare. But it's not scary at all. You will occasionally come across notes to explain what's going on. It looks decent but fairly forgettable overall.

At least it may pacify my nephew who is into horror stuff.

I have on Xbox from it being offered as a Games with Gold monthly freebie awhile ago. Played through it, was alright I guess. Yeah it wasn’t something that really stuck with me or anything.

Thanks. She has a chronic illness called cyclical vomiting syndrome (CVS), which is just as unpleasant as it sounds. To sum up, your brain chemistry is messed up enough that it tells your stomach it needs to throw up and then not stop for any length of time between 30 minutes to 4 or 5 hours. Anyway, she had an attack and recovery usually takes a couple days so that's that.

But yeah, getting to meet Fred Olan Ray was really cool. The guy has pretty much done anything you can do with a budget of less than $50,000 per film. He's done a lot of cheesy sci-fi movies, softcore porn, and currently makes a lot of those Christmas movies that show up on the Hallmark and lifetime channel in december.

I bought one of his movies that was kind of a step in between the low budget sci-fi and porn called Evil Toons. It was basically the answer to everyone who watched Who Framed Roger Rabbit and said, "this would be a lot better if there were boobs."

That sounds rough, best of luck to her.

That director sounds like he has amazing range.

RE4 VR is beat but I am doing a new run with no strafe and no laser sight. No strafe is exactly what it sounds like, you can't go side to side so you are forced to move like a tank, so classic RE4 movement but you can't still go forward and back while shooting so it's not exactly RE4 controls. I did this on pro mode and woah it feels a lot more like the OG game, much tougher. Overall it's an incredible experience, the best game experience I've had this year easily. RE4 is still amazing after all these years and the being Leon and being in all those awesome situations translates so well.

Started Guardians of the Galaxy I love it!! It’s beautiful, incredible music, so much detail, it’s one of those games like Arkham that has all the little touches that makes it feel so perfectly tied to the source material. The cast is great, I have laughed out loud a few times already. They never stop talking, it is like watching a movie, everything I loved about their chemistry in the movie is present here. Combat seems different, I only did one battle where I had the full team, it was a bit chaotic. The game world so far is very linear with some minor platforming to do, there are hidden little paths to find to get materials or hidden costumes. There was one awesome set piece while “I ran” plays, so good!

Anyone played Observer? Need to know if it's worth picking up.

I this won't be of interest to anyone else, but all the Secret Files adventure games are finally back on sale on Switch. I've been waiting months.

I bought all three, Tunguska etc.

I fully expect them to be old ass janky PC games but that's my vibe.

Also I watch an adventure games YouTube channel and the guy normally shows PC games. I've been pleasently surprised to see most of them pop up on the upcoming section of the switch eshop. Encodya, unavowed etc.

I tried Tunguska years ago when it was on the Wii and, you're going in with the right attitude. It was old and clunky even back then.

So, Facebook is changing it's name to Meta and it's logo to a pringle.  No fucks were given.

If anything, I'm not waiting for any kind of Metaverse.  Not from Facebook, not from Epic.  It'll just end up being one big advertisement and microtransaction.

Ergh! Tunguska on Switch is letterboxed in a weird 4:3 but shunted to one side with the icons and items permanently on screen in huge side bars.

FFS playing portable you lose a 3rd of the screen and there's a huge black bar on the left?!

Looks like TV play only is the way to go. It's by the same publisher as Lost Horizon, so at least its got proper point and click game play, gyro aiming.

I read about the upcoming rebranding of Facebook a week or two ago. It was more less consider to confirm the rumor that point. It seems that aside from the new brand acting is an umbrella for all of the companies that Facebook owns, it's also a big step to try and get a fresh start with the younger audience.

There's a major drop in users after a certain age, I think in the early twenties. Younger generation z and generation alpha have a pretty negative view of Facebook or just don't even acknowledge that it exists, because it's something their parents use.

Personally I genuinely hate Facebook these days. I use it for event planning and not much else. At some point I need to find a way to retrieve all of my pictures that I posted to it and find another place to store them.

....and yeah that logo isn't doing anything for me.

I would quit Facebook except for all of the family pictures that I need to begin storing.  What started out as a fun way to connect with people is now filled with lies and misinformation.

So I received an in game message on Asphalt Legends 9.

Ive been promoted to the leader of my club as the leader became inactive.

It also had a warning that if I become less active it will be transferred to someone else.

My clubs called Next Generation and it has a British flag icon.

We need more members.

It's a shame Facebook errr Meta is leading the way for VR but that's what we got. The tech they showed is insanity, they had an avatar that is photorealistic to a person in real time in VR. It was just a tech demo of what will be possible but holy shit if we can do that now the future will be nuts and a little scary. Virtual people fraud will be a thing. As always I can't wait to see the gaming applications for this, it's just the beginning.
