Mark of the Ninja is one of the best stealth games ever. So much fun!
The Switch version is inferior though. It is 30fps instead of 60 fps like the other versions.
Heck even the 360 version is 60 fps! So no excuse for that.
But even though it is only 30fps, it still plays awesomely. Finished it 100 % and had lots of fun with it.
I really enjoyed Mark of the Ninja when I played it in 2013. I'd be interested to know if there are any similar stealth games around.

Thanks guys. Any idea what Aragami is like? It looks like a Tenchu replacement
I'm balls deep in True Fear Forsaken Souls. Got it for £3.30 in the sale. Its demo is actually the game that got me into hidden object games and made me realise that they're basically 1st person graphic adventures. I'm not a huge horror game fan, aside from Resident Evil. I do intend to pick up Layers of Fear though. Like that game there is no death or monsters to fight. This game is all about the art, atmosphere and story. It's one of the best horror games I've played lately. The artwork, whilst great hasn't been captured in the greatest quality compared to Artifex Mundi games. So it's best played on the Switches screen. Now this may be a result of indigestion but I had two True Fear nightmares last night. Try the demo, guys you may like this one, but remember to ram up the cursor speed in the options.
Can anyone explain to me what the hell Kentucky route Zero is? I hear sites saying it's great but from the screens and video I can't even tell what it is.
You're doing it wrong. I've bought 50 games in the past few weeks. You need a huge sd card and get the dozens of great indie games. I keep telling people, there a YouTube channel Switch UP, which does video reviews of virtually every indie game. There's awesome stuff, I still haven't come close to getting everything worth getting. Games like Moon lighter, Children of Morta, Dead Cells etc. And they're perfect to play portable, in bed and on the big screen. You need to load up your wishlist on the shop, check once a week and get them when on sale. I'm going to buy 9 games in the sale tommorow and there are still dozens more on my list.
I'm thrilled to see engaged GG back, but most of those games I have on PC or played them elsewhere. Sadly my switch is just a Nintendo playing machine and there isn't much Nintendo playing going on.
Hollow Knight is amazing. I just beat it with 98% completion (with a handful or less of wiki uses). I'm hoping that its replayability is high, but with how long it is, I'm unfortunately skeptical.
Shovel Knight is a possibility, but I'm more into metroidvanias, and it looks more like Mega Man, which I've never been into.
Steam World reminds me of Spelunky, which didn't hold my interest for long, despite the appealing concept.
Guacamelee might scratch my metroidvania itch. There are a few I'm looking at (such as Bloodstained and Blasphemous).
What I'd like to do is get everything non-Nintendo on Xbox because it's my main platform and I want backward compatibility. The only catch there is that I've heard about people permanently losing access to their entire Microsoft accounts for tiny things (even unrelated to gaming), and this is concerning. Less of an issue with Nintendo, but they're unreliable for backward compatibility. *shrug*
Hollow knight is a masterpiece. Bloodstained I think is a great Igavania, even the 2D ones are worth playing as they are excellent old school CV games. Guacamelee is great fun, I liked the first more than the second. If you want a quicky cool Metroidvania on gamepass play Touhou Luna knights. Ori games are great, more platformers though.
I don't think I actually have any Sonic games these days. I'm sure I can track down a copy of Sonic 2 no. That was always my go-to favorite Sonic game.
I was 17 when Sonic 1 launched. I remember the first time I saw it; it was at my local Toys R Us which had a non-playable demo of it on a TV behind glass. I had just started my first job a month earlier and spent most of my money keeping POS truck running. I finally saved up enough for a Sega Genesis w/ Sonic by late November 1991.
I've got a Sonic story. I was at my cousin's house and I guess he had just gotten a Genesis with Sonic. It wasn't the first time I had played a genesis, but up until that point I think the only game I had ever played on one was altered beast. Anyway, Sonic was amazing. I just didn't think games could move that fast you know?
I ended up sitting in front of his TV playing it for 4 or 5 hours until we were ready to go home. When I came upstairs my parents asked why the hell my eyes were so bloodshot. Apparently I had barely blinked while playing it. First time, though not the last time, I ever directly experienced bloodshot eyes from gaming.
N64 falls on the lower side of Nintendo consoles for me. The Zelda games were great. I had a really good time playing Mario party with my girlfriend and friends in college. But at the end of the day it never really had a lot of the games I liked, so I always look back on it as an okay console. Not bad, but nothing special.

Have you played all these? I haven't even filled in my wishlist properly yet: http://www.thevgpress.com/forumtopics/what-indie-or-cheap-game-deals-do-you-own-or-recommend-_3568.html I updated with some more from my wishlist. There's so many non-tendo games you could be trying. No one wants to try The DarkSide Detective or anything else I recommend tho. 😔

Tekken X Street Fighter cancelled?
I know. I know.... It came as a shock to all of us.

Not only has this news ruined my day but it’s ruined my life!

Today is Sonic's 30th anniversary!!!
Ill replay the first to commemorate. While it's been a really bumpy road lately sonic is still one of my all time favorites.
No, it's the 25th annivarsary of the N64 launch
I might replay it as well tonight. Sonic 1 is still my favorite Sonic game.

Happy anniversary....Nintendo 64!!!

I had some great times with the N64 with:
But I can’t help but think of it as the weaker of the Nintendo systems.
