Basically all of the GameStop stock was bought by short sellers, this type of investment makes money on share prices going down, but if the share price goes up, then you're totally fucked if there are people out there buying them. Someone on Reddit's wallstreetbets bought $50,000 worth of shares last year, and they're now worth over 20 million; this has inspired a pile on of Redditors buying shares, driving the price up even higher. As long as he holds onto most of his shares (which he still is) the frenzy is unlikely to end; when he does, everyone will panic sell and the prices will return to what GameStop is worth (or something like that), but the short sellers will have all been absolutely fucked due to their greed preventing them from selling when the GameStop shares were extremely low lol.
Having read many books on economics, I have no idea how economics works in reality, so my description might be totally wrong; but that's how I understand it.
Well it's probably not too late to get on board, but it's something you'll have to pay attention to as it's not like you're buying Game Stop stock because you think it'll be a good long term investment. If you have some spare change lying around you're willing to gamble on for fun, it might still be worth it.
I’m sure nothing will change. Nothing at all.
Blackberry might be worth taking a look at, too.
If only the banks were pursuing their own dreams in a reasonable manner, then you'd be making money on your money just sitting around in the bank!
But we'd also be paying higher interest ratio's for lending money. As someone who is more into the lending side of the equation, I'm perfectly happy with my money not making money the lazy way.
*BAMF!*
WTF? Why have I been summoned? I was just about to snuggle up with a blankie and watch some Netflix...!?
On the bright side, you're supporting the post-covid theater renaissance that's coming up!
GME down to $200, and some apps aren't letting people buy more (or AMC and BB stock). Tomorrow will be an interesting day, I think!

I'm pleasantly surprised by the amount of changes that were made to Catherine Full Blood over the original. The story is enhanced in a large way, with a lot of new scenes added into existing cutscenes, totally new cutscenes, revamped block towers to scale with larger blocks to take into account, ... And it's all masterfully done, it's impossible to tell where the seams are between the original content and that which was added for Full Blood. There's also the option to play with the original puzzles.
Highly recommended, even -or maybe even more so- if you played the original back in the day.
