Johnny Depp won't be reprising his role as villain grindelwald in the 3rd fantastical beasts movie after he lost a case in which was stated he abused his wife.
Not sure how they'll manage to replace him. If anything he's still a unique, if somewhat acquired taste, as an actor.
The movies are entertaining and I'm sure I'll watch the third one at some point.
Completed Ghost busted Remastered. I would give it a 7/10. It's not great to be honest but pal-ing around with the characters is fun in and of itself. Game can be a real pain in the ass at times.
Thank god itβs over. Faith in humanity has been slightly restored.
Not sure there's much cause for celebration. Even when you've had a republican president that's the most unfit person for the job in the history of democrarcy, there'll still be about 70 million Americans willing to vote for him. What happens if the GOP comes with a less repulsive candicate, eg. anyone but Trump, in 2024?

Yeah, it's appalling. The country feels broken. Biden has his work cut out for him but hopefully we can begin to unite again.
It's very complicated. The bigger immediate problem is that Democrats haven't won the senate. There will be 2 run-off elections in Georgia that if they win both, they'll control a tied chamber. Last time there was a Democratic president and Republican congress, Republicans refused to do absolutely anything.
With control, things actually could change. Republicans can only currently compete because of slanted systems. Democratic presidents have won the popular vote 8 of the last 9 elections. Democratic senators, despite having minority control, represent over 10 million more Americans. The House, which is supposed to expand with the population, hasn't added seats since 1913, and Republicans have gerrymandered to extreme lengths in places like North Carolina and Wisconsin. They pass restrictive voting laws to try to prevent people from voting. The voting rights act was undermined by the supreme court which prompted more voting restrictions in Republican controlled states. And the Citizens United ruling allowed unlimited corporate money into campaigns.
Adding states to the senate, expanding the house, ungerrymandering, making voting easier, passing voting rights legislation, and unpacking the Republican supreme court would make it almost impossible for Republicans to win elections while still behaving the way they do now. But that's a lot, and it'll be hard to get all Democrats on board. But first thing's first, and that's getting control of the senate. For the Americans here, you don't have to live in Georgia to help. You can donate and volunteer to help make that a reality.

The longer-term difficulty is the conservative propaganda ecosystem. There was a recent poll that asked about people's media diet, and what stories they had heard the most about.
Part of it was comparing Republic voters who got their news primarily from Fox News, to Republican voters who didn't.
The Fox News viewers were much more politically engaged, hearing more about most topics than their counterparts. Except for negative stories about Trump. People who viewed Fox News, despite being far more focused on politics, actually knew less about stories such as Trump's secret Chinese bank account, insulting Fauci, calling for Gretchin Whitmer to be arrested and so on.
Bad stories about Biden though, of course they heard much more about.
Conservative media outlets create such a distorted reality for its consumers that opinions are based entirely on who's in power and it translates to voters. Republican opinion changed overnight when Trump was elected, even though nothing changed. And it applies to every issue. Gun control became partisan for Republicans as soon as Obama took charge. Suddenly Syrian airstrikes were popular when Trump was doing them. The propaganda pickles the brain, and it needs to get addressed.

A lot of Trump's false claims are also related to Mexico.
Where is everyone? Watching the election count?
I've been researching Gran Turismo 6 force feedback steering wheels and stands. I'm considering these:
Thrustmaster T150 RS Racing Wheel for PS4, PS3 and PC = $199.99 Amazon
GT Omega Racing Wheel Stand = $139.95 Amazon
Also, wondering if it'll work with Gran Tursimo 7. I might wait unitl it comes out instead.
I'm starting my first ever game of Hollow Knight.

Thrustmaster you say?

To Trump: βNa, na, na, na. Na, na, na, na. Hey, ey, ey. Goodbye!β π

And that's just a small snapshot of what's going on. It doesn't touch on social media bubbles, Facebook's conservative bias and commitment to allowing lies spread on their platform, YouTube's radicalizing algorithms.
