So, I've been playing Puyo Puyo Tetris. Probably my two favorite puzzle games all wrapped up in one package. Individually, the games are good, and having you swap back and forth while competing is kind of a neat gimmick... at first. there's actually a lot to complain about, but at the end of the day the core gameplay is still fun so it's all minor.
The rest of my GameStop order arrives tomorrow, so I'll probably put this on hold and whenever I get back to playing something later in the week it will be Bloodstained.
Been playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons but ended up returning to Gears 5 and playing mostly that the past few days, specifically Horde mode and King of the Hill ranked matches.
I finished Metro Exodus and the Two Colonels (which was basically part of the main story and shouldn't have been DLC), and am getting near the end of Beat Cop. I started Pathologic II which had an extraordinary opening...but I felt like more Metro, so I started and will be continuing Sam's Story instead, which has some of the most extraordinary accents ever. Semper Fi!
Looks like those whispers about a Nintendo Direct this week were correct. Today at 7AM PST they are hosting a partner mini direct, and are going over some previously announced titles. I suspect at the end of this they will announce a full-fledged direct for tomorrow or later in the week. Hell, maybe even later today.
On a related note, I've got two predictions.
1. Get ready for Bayonetta 3 news. Kamiya posted about some collector edition Bayonetta guns and I'm seeing it in my Facebook feed this morning. The timing seems coincidental.
2. StarTropics 3. Not for today show mind you, but later this week. I have a feeling it was developed years ago and they were just waiting for something like a quarantine to release it.

to clarify, these aren't part of a collector's edition for the game. These are more like collectible figurines. They just happen to be guns.

Well can you blame them. They’re afraid, afraid of the stampede to the stores and frenzy of people trying to download the game. It’ll bring the internet to its knees and burst all the tubes. People will run rampant through the streets.
Did that ExciteBots game ever release stateside? It sure didn't hit shelves here in Europe.
yep, we got it. Or rather I think I should say I got it. I'm fairly sure I was one of the only people in this country who picked it up. It's a real shame too, cuz it had one of the most unique racing modes I had ever played. It was called poker mode. You would do a lap around the track and at various points you would drive over a card. At the end of each lap you would have five cards and whoever had the better hand won the lap.
I love playing that, but I don't think I ever raced against more than two other people in that mode.
Thank you for the Rice and Ruin update Leo. I've liked the Facebook page for it and am keeping abreast of it. They have a very nice and reasonably priced collector's edition out there too that has some pretty good stuff in it.

They had a deal in it's launch month and if you bought a special pedometer you could get the game for free which I did. They still don't see it as anything other than the trial version.
So now I'm playing Wii Fit Plus, which is okay, but I sure like the HD version of this. used copies are kind of tough to find, but they're only about $5 if you can find one. So now it's $5 or my principal of not being forced to rebuy something.

I know the feeling. I purchased Dark Souls III for the Xbox One and it came with a free digital download of the original 360 version of Dark Souls. I always immediately download these things just to make sure they get activated and linked to my account. One day I deleted it to make room on the HDD and figured I could download it later on whenever. Well going through the games that I owned one day I noticed that it wasn’t there. Lo and behold it said that I needed to purchase the game. Mind you I still have the physical version of the 360 game along with the remastered Xbox One version so it’s not like I need it or anything but I’ll be damned if it’s not something that sticks in my craw to this day.
Anyway my advice would be to just spend the $5 and get it but never forget and never forgive.

Would love a Super Mario 3D All-Stars Collection for sure. Would also dig a new Wave Race and/or Pilotwings. Had a lot of fun with those games.

If it had released in Australia (or any PAL territory) I would have got it. I've downloaded the Dolphin ROM, but haven't got around to playing it yet.
