Oh dear... The Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer was... underwhelming. I wasn't expecting to see game playing, but I was expecting to see... I don't know. Something. This just seem like a whole lot of nothing.

I loved the Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer myself. The game world looks fantastic and the game’s story looks like it’ll be very interesting.

Same here.  I have no clue what’s going on but I love it.

I didn't get much of the story out of that trailer. I got kind of a theme and I guess a cutscene display of a lot of the activities, but I still couldn't sum up what the plot of this game is going to be by a long shot.

Plus I'm a little perplexed that they are doing a closing of the West story that takes place 15 years before their original closing of the West story.

Runner 3 - official trailer

Another Runner game?? I love the original, but the second one did not click with me at all. And this one looks very much like the 2nd, so unfortunately I can say I have no interest in this at all. Too bad.

I had high hopes for Gaijin Games that they might flourish, but they got stuck in their niche, it's sad.

Indeed. The bit trip games were all very unique. Of all the genres they tackled, endless runner seems the most mundane by far.

God of War is pretty amazing.  It’s refreshing how different it is.  I’m not sure I’ll call it game if the generation but it’s pretty high on the list.  Unfortunately,I rented it instead of buying.  My niece is staying with us for a while and she sleeps in the living room.  It will be a while before I can get some good gaming time in so I saw no point in buying this yet.

Renting games was outlawed here in Belgium about a decade ago. Hrm Still don't know how that happened.

What an odd law.

Is Belgium basically like an offshoot of France? Just curious.

I might be doing that tomorrow depending on how the Pens play.

We're about 60% Dutch speaking, 40% French speaking, and then a very small part German speaking.  The Dutch speaking part leans more towards the Netherlands, while the French speaking part leans more towards France for stuff like common pop culture and those things.  I wouldn't call us an off shoot of either really, although it's probably partially true for both as well.
