I do look forward to playing some Persona 5 in the future.... the distant future. Still too many good games on the PS4 that I haven't touched yet that are in the hobo price range. Seems to be living up to some pretty heavy expectations, but like Edge said, it did become a critical darling over the past few years and it does make me wonder just a little bit if the consumers will be just as happy. I'm kind of hoping that the reviews for Person 5 get a lot of people excited for the game, and then they realize its not for them and the secondary market gets quickly flooded.
In the meantime, Toukiden Kiwami is keeping me nicely occupied. It definitely is not as good as the Monster Hunter games, but it has a couple nice twists to it, and hey I'm playing on a big screen and with a real controller so its worth the trade-off.
Kiwami 2 is getting INCREDIBLY positive reviews too...
It is a complete rip-off. Not even a question about that. They basically took all of the ideas of the game, made it a little easier, and used a futile mythological Japan art style for it instead of something original.
That said, it is fun. I will give a more thorough write up on it this weekend. I was thinking that at some point comma since a lot of us like Monster Hunter, maybe we could give this or the sequel a shot and play together as a group.

It was the demo for Toukiden 2 that pushed me to go ahead and get the first. The sequel looks much improved, but for $17 I figured the first one would do the job.

We could have all played MH5 together if you didn't go and spend your Switch funds on a PS4 And now you have the balls to just assume that all of us own a PS4? Pfah, I say, PFAH!

And one day we will... But there will be no Monster Hunter 5 for a long time.
Hope that's true. Like mentioned on Neogaf, I've had some huge lurches in framerate when knocking over moblins.
I've only had that about twice. It's areas like Kariko village shrine or deku forest that are black spots. I tested after applying the patch and it's nearly all fixed or better with a few dips.
Got a new charge cable for the laptop. Now it's charging. Great cheap fix. Keyboard is still a POS that keeps disconnecting. Picked up a surface pro 4. Also got a 64gb micro SD for switch. Damn son, those are so cheap now, less that half of what they used to be. I now have 90gb storage on Switch. More than enough for me.
Congrats on getting a surface, I'm sure you'll love it. Did you consider getting a case for it? Surface is finally selling well enough that there are a couple decent ones iut there.
Also, storage has been dirt cheap for ages now. I remember buying my first card over a decade ago. It cost oke euro per megabite.

I don't see the problem. Nintendo, Playtonic, and Bioware are doing their best to bring back the N64 glory days and now they're trying to 'fix" the frames? Thank the gods there were no updates and patches in the 90's and early 00's.

So, how much of a MH ripoff is Toukiden Kiwami?

Xbones are going for €233 with Forza Horizon 3 or Fifa these days. That's not a bad deal.

Spring break time, baby! That means it's time to start Mass Effect.
You can't Fool me!
I pulled the trigger today. Picked up a Nintendo Switch and preordered Splatoon 2.
Well, if I can pull myself away from Zelda.
That's unpossible!
