I'm not familiar with ipads. Got a slow running mini. How do I run a spyware remover and performance optimization tool? App store or is there one built in?
I'm really not ready for Persona 5. I haven't even played Persona 4.
The VG24/7 article says it's a clean break from the series and has new characters etc so you don't need to have played the past games. Here are the reviews:
The industry has been jerking off over Persona since the late PS2 era...the scores aren't surprising really. I try not to let review scores change my thinking about games these days good or bad because I've found over the past 10 or so years that gaming journalism is full of idiots.
I've seen numerous games that imo were really great, get shit scores...while other games that imo were just OK get 9/10. Hell the new Mass Effect is a great example. I've been playing this non stop...I actually stopped playing Zelda because I'm enjoying Mass Effect so much. And some guys gave this game 5 and 6 out of 10....lmao. Is it as good as Mass Effect 2? Hell no. But neither was Mass Effect 3 and I'd say they're both about on the same level. People whining about the animations....I mean get a life. Can it look odd sometimes in conversations? Yeah...does it affect gameplay? No.
The shit that certain games get nitpicked about that really isn't any big deal is strange to me. Did these people play games back in the PS1/N64 era? Because they would have given every game a 2/10.
I do look forward to playing some Persona 5 in the future.... the distant future. Still too many good games on the PS4 that I haven't touched yet that are in the hobo price range. Seems to be living up to some pretty heavy expectations, but like Edge said, it did become a critical darling over the past few years and it does make me wonder just a little bit if the consumers will be just as happy. I'm kind of hoping that the reviews for Person 5 get a lot of people excited for the game, and then they realize its not for them and the secondary market gets quickly flooded.
In the meantime, Toukiden Kiwami is keeping me nicely occupied. It definitely is not as good as the Monster Hunter games, but it has a couple nice twists to it, and hey I'm playing on a big screen and with a real controller so its worth the trade-off.
So I did a switch battery test last night because I suspected something was up. It went from 100% to 5% in an hour. So I powered down and left it undocked till morning. Turned it on and it said 62% battery was left- which is what it should. Have been. It must have been the firmware update that is messing things up.
idiots
packaging is printed wrongly. http://m.uk.ign.com/articles/2017/03/28/wb-comments-on-lego-city-undercover-switch-download
Well, there's a revelaiton.

For anyone interested: Reviews are starting to appear online for Persona 5 (4/4) and it is good... very, VERY good!
It's being hailed as the best Persona yet and one of the best JRPG's in a long, long time!
Sounds great. I really need to get around to picking up a PS4 soon.

Comp get!
Snake Pass on Switch holds up nicely against PS4
This was interesting. We thought the PS4 version was 1080p 60 FPS and the Switch ver was 1080p 30FPS
Turns out the Switch ver is 720p docked and the PS4 version is under 900p but also 30 FPS.
Also, whoa at the Persona 5 reviews.

Sounds like Yooka-Laylee has some choppiness...so it really is like an old school N64 game.
That's another lame ass thing these yuppy nerds always whine about.
You have some shit luck with these things. Just build yourself a nice cheap one. Or get a cheap laptop.

Until I get a PS4 I will get my Persona fix by returning to Tokyo Mirage Sessions.
I will join you in playing TMS. After I finish Zelda, XCX and Bravely Second.
So is anyone getting Snake Pass?
They fixed Zelda s poor frame rate area
