Outside of the controller the system does look pretty neat.
Skyrim Special Edition which will release on the PS4 and Xbox One on October 28th.
It looks alot better than the older version of Skyrim.

The dock seems a bit thicker than it should be if its just an empty shell video signal pass through.
I'm going with re-master. At least it will have AA and new map updates.
I don't get it. Eurogamer blew the lid off this thing months ago, we've know what NX is for ages so personally this trailer wasn't exciting at all. I'll mainly play at home, so it will be cool to take it from room to room finally and to bed, and to a relatives house.
I'll finally be able to play big games like Skyrim uninterupted - something that U allowed me to do with XCX, on the tv, then off, then on etc.
Good point, we can use this games display options and framerates for performance comparisons.

So this is basically what Nintendo wanted the Wii U to be in the first place going by iwata interviews. They wanted it to be like this in the first place but because a handheld at the time wouldn't have the required power they ditched the idea.

This Mario game, wow.
It's really not complicated. I don't put a lot into video game rumors as a general rule, because most of the time they don't work out. I saw it, and didn't really think much of it again as I chose to await on the official announcement. So, because of that I quite enjoyed what I saw.
The colors on it are amazing. So crisp too.
Anyone notice how Nvida point out that the tegra inside Switch is scalable?
Nintendo Switch is powered by a custom Tegra processor, which Nvidia says is a "high-efficiency scalable processor includes an NVIDIA GPU based on the same architecture as the world’s top-performing GeForce gaming graphics cards".
Remember the PX2 tegra slides a few months back? Where they say that these things can be paried and scaled up for more power? Could be relevant to docks and or SCDs.

Yeah I'm kind of like you. When I go into something I keep my expectations low so I'm usually not dissapointed in anything.

Check out the image and form link in the updates. the devs have a video. Nintendo were showing people the nx in march, inviting people out. Interesting stuff. Devs have know what NX is for months.
Yep, interesting video. They say Nintendo "isn't what people think they are. They are open, warm, funny and it was a priviledge to go there."
I think by scalable they're simply referring to it being able to run at different clock speeds. That's how AMD and Nvidea use the term most of the time. It's also how Nvidea refer to their latest GPU's, with the PS4 Pro's clock speed simply being one of the scaling options on the PC cards. I wouldn't get my hopes up.
It's a good way to manage happiness in general. There really isn't a benefit and getting excited over something early when it's not confirmed. You will still be just as happy and excited later but you also remove the possibility for disappointment, if you're patient and wait for the final verdict and confirmation.

Bethesda isn't wrong about this. This could potentially make their games explode in Japan. Skyrim did pretty well for them on consoles, but the potential for having them on a handheld system in Japan... That really could be a big deal for them.
When they showed off PX2 the scalability was specifically pointed out in relation with how it pairs up and powers up. Using two of them and depending on the FP precision and motherboard.
Whats funny about the Switch is that I remember someone on GAF saying this is what it was called ages ago and everyone laughed it off and said it was fake.
These Mario gifs on gaf!!! It's stunning. It looks like open world Mario is back! The Mexico area looks like a hub world complete with NPCs. Triple jump isn't back, definetly not a 3D world like game.
Rumor is they couldn't show the switch in Sept cause Mario was not ready yet to be shown. Worth the wait! No chance it should a launch game though. Still add another to the greatest video game year of all time, 2017!
Don't know if I'm just in an arsey mood because I've been doing work all day but this new Nintendo doesn't get me very excited. This seems just an upscaled WiiU on which to re-release what few games the WiiU had. Not even proper sequels this time. Screw this, I can get the U version of Zelda and not bother with any of this.
