GoNintendo Review - Metroid Prime: Federation Force
"All in all, I was actually quite blown away by Metroid Prime: Federation Force. I was expecting to get an enjoyable experience, but I've come away with a true appreciation for the game"gonintendo.com impressions gamingeek
... outside Sup and Bugs, or does everyone else have no interest in a great looking Fzero game?
nevermind.
I believe Robio was going to get the physical release as well. I haven't played online yet, but perhaps we could try playing online together once? Then we could all scrape along the edges of the tracks together!
Yeah it's been on my watchlist for a while. I almost picked it up, but the Super Mario Kart DLC was on sale the day I was going to get it, so I went for that instead.
Wow that's pretty slick. I liked Epic Mickey a lot, though I didn't really think a sequel was ever necessary. I still think I would have picked up an Epic Donald though.
Wow, 25 years?? Well here's to it. Definitely my favorite system of all time.
I did not realize that I bought my system almost a year to the day of its launch (though I had it on layaway for a few weeks). Seemed like it had been out for a lot longer. It kind of makes me mad about game production these days.
When I bought my Super Nintendo, I also picked up Final Fantasy 2 and Street Fighter 2 along with it. And there were plenty of other games I debated buying at the time. Super Mario World, Castlevania 4, Link to the Past, etc. All of them are considered classics and were released in Year One. Look at the current gen consoles and look at how many great games were released in their first years. Pathetic. I know game development takes longer now, but man it is completely night and day different.
Not a bad list. Safe, but it's not like any game on the list can be argued against. For anyone who doesn't click the link here's their list:
Super Mario World
A Link to the Past
Super Metroid
Street Fighter II
Final Fantasy 3 (VI)
Star Fox
Yoshi's Island
Super Mario Kart
Mega Man X
Super Mario RPG
ActRaiser
You could easily argue another dozen games could be in this list. So many of them are still excellent, even by today's standards. The 16-bit era definitely holds strong against time.

Wow that is a really good sale. Dark Cloud 2 for only $6? If any PS4 owner doesn't pick that up just on principle they need to be repeatedly kicked in the nuts. Or the vulva. I don't descriminate.
No Edgecrusher, don't get your hopes up. He means it's mostly about handiwork, not naughty housewives.
Pretty much. Though I don't think I've used it for about 2 years now.

Happy 25th SNES, you were the best.

SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
Not the most amazing reviews for Deus Ex, lots of 7s and 8s. Well I am still excited.
Titanfall 2 is sooooooo good. The grappling hook is an awesome addition.
GameSpot gave Deus Ex Mankind Divided an 8 so that's good enough for me.
SNES turns 25, devs weigh in on the console's 11 best games

Not having Chrono Trigger in that list is a crime against humanity.
Well, they got the top 3 right.

Really good sale. I'd certainly pick up Dark Cloud 2 on the PS4 and not just to avoid a kick in the nuts.
Or vulva.
