GoNintendo Review - Metroid Prime: Federation Force
"All in all, I was actually quite blown away by Metroid Prime: Federation Force. I was expecting to get an enjoyable experience, but I've come away with a true appreciation for the game"gonintendo.com impressions gamingeek
Wow that is a really good sale. Dark Cloud 2 for only $6? If any PS4 owner doesn't pick that up just on principle they need to be repeatedly kicked in the nuts. Or the vulva. I don't descriminate.
i refuse to pick it up on principle. Because I already own it and have not played it yet.
Not a bad list. Safe, but it's not like any game on the list can be argued against. For anyone who doesn't click the link here's their list:
Super Mario World
A Link to the Past
Super Metroid
Street Fighter II
Final Fantasy 3 (VI)
Star Fox
Yoshi's Island
Super Mario Kart
Mega Man X
Super Mario RPG
ActRaiser
You could easily argue another dozen games could be in this list. So many of them are still excellent, even by today's standards. The 16-bit era definitely holds strong against time.
How do you not have F-Zero in a Snes list? Blasphemy.
I was playing a little F-zero on the Retron last week.....still so fun. I remember playing it for the first time at launch, not knowing anything about it but thinking the cover looked cool....popped it in my new Snes and did not want to stop for hours. I was blown away. I also remember around that time I had just started getting big into music, and Megadeth's Rust In Peace had just come out. Much of the F-Zero soundtrack sounds quite a bit like Megadeth style harmonies...so I always think of the two together.

I'd put Namco's Battlecars at #4 and F-zero at #5.
F-zero, if doing a list that is weighted by nostalgia, is #1.
I've been replaying Human Revolution with the commentary on from the devs. Basically all they talk about is how they cut so much out of the game because of either time or the limitations of the Xbox 360 & Ps3.
This is a game that was in development in 2010, and the consoles were already causing cuts & bottlenecks. And they wouldn't be replaced for another 3 years.

U version? You know late in the game I found a really easy cheap way to cruise through the game. Invisibility + stun gun and a few batteries. You can literally walk straight up to bad guys.
No not the U version. The 360 version on Xbone. Its the same thing.
Nice thing about multi-disc 360 games on Xbone is you don't have to switch discs. Once the game is installed you just need disc 1 to confirm you have it.

You were playing the U version before. You sent me pervy messages.
No denying. Search youtube for jazz chrono trigger.
Are you trying to point me to the Brink of Time arrangement? I actually had that on CD many years ago when I went through a video game soundtrack phase. Found some interesting stuff during that time. Primarily that album and a Celtic arrangement of the Final Fantasy IV soundtrack called FFIV: Celtic Moon.

I'll add:
I'd put (without research):
1. Super Mario RPG.
2. Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball
3. SimCity
*dodges tomatoes*
IGN gave it a 9.2, and that's good enough for me.

Do you need Deus Ex to send Pervy messages?
That was like 2012.
I'm sure you'll get to it any day now.
