I think you'll be fine Leo. They can do crazy things these days. Phil Anselmo of Pantera had a really bad back, he's fine after surgery. Ditto with Pete Sandoval of Morbid Angel. Dave Mustaine of Megadeth was told he'd never play guitar again because he fucked his arm up. He has gone on to make another 5 albums and tour the world.
