This is kind of like a retailer's version of Xbox Live or PSN. I'm actually kind of surprised Gamestop didn't try something like this first.

Doesn't amazon do that with everything though? I think there's all kinds of stuff you can only get if you have Prime.

Played the Mirrors Edge 2 beta, well it’s ME it still feels mostky the same but the open world feels uninspired. Once I arrived at the open city the game takes you to the menu and you see skill trees, map missions and so on. I have random shit to collect, different missions to find. While the open world should help exploration I saw a few missions repeated the same locations and just changed some of the paths. In between missions and I am running around and it all feels the same.

I don’t remember much of ME but reading impressions some controls have been simplified. The game defaults to a hint system with arrows guiding you which you should turn off. Combat is mixed into the free run which is cool, it adds to the flow of a great run.

I feel like I don’t need another open world game and I don’t know how compelling doing all this running will be for a longer game.

I had an awesome two and a half hour mp session of The Last of Us.  New maps!  The multiplayer is still fun as hell.
