Dark Souls and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 have just been added to the Xbox One be list. Very cool. I have both these games and certainly don't mind having them available to play without having to hook up my 360 again. The bc list keeps getting better and better, I love it.
Not a problem, considering how few PS3 and 360 games were full HD.

If the NX controller is a fake, then it's a very elaborate one. 2 exact copies of the same hardware, but from seperate leaks and one in black, the other in white?
Also, you would think that Nintendo had learned it's lesson with the WiiU: packing in an overly expensive controller is a bad idea. Unless of course this is the successor of the 3DS. In that case I'm only worried about the lack of buttons.

Very good read on what the PS4K could mean for Sony and gaming in general. DF doubts wether Sony can deliver an upgrade that could truely promis 4K graphics, while still remaining backwards (sideways?) compatible with the original PS4 both in terms of software and development pipelines.
Another good observation they make is that perhaps this is the end of the generational leaps in the console space as we know it. Not because Sony and MS chose it to be so, but because they're being forced due to a slowdown in hardware evolution. Chips just aren't improving at the same speed they used to, which would result in only incrimental improvements between generations, not large enough to entice consumers to jump ship onto the SS next-gen. So perhaps annual or bi-annual improvements as we see in the tablet and phone market would seem more reasonable.

UPDATE 2 - Game Informer editor Andy McNamara says the images match some details that he heard about the controller. He doesn't name sources and he also makes sure to say that just because some details line up, doesn't mean the images are real.
UPDATE 3 - Our friends at NWR say that their inside sources claim the images are fake.

I'll admit that the Zelda concept is a good idea. Personally I think it's a good idea to have a toucscreen close to analogue sticks as it'll make menu navigation and contextual stuff super easy. BUT I'd like some real buttons to go with that.
Also, whatever Nintendo has better be good, because after these fake leaks showing such sleek tech, people will be expecting a lot. I highly doubt Nintendo will show us something that looks as sleek as what we're seeing now. I'm putting my money on glossy plastic, for that extra touch of homely smear.

As for touch screen buttons, there are load of touch screen buttons in Wii U games and most of the time they work great and lead to unique and easy to use interfaces like the XCX map and probe screen for instance. Or swapping stuff around and using your items in Zombi U.
But it's good for occasional stuff you toggle and if placed perfectly in the upper right or left corner of the U pad screen works well. But not for repeated twitch actions.

I just don't understand why Nintendo thinks their only option nowadays is to come up with some crazy controller. 10 years of this now. Gamecube pad was one of the best things they did because it was a natural, normal controller evolution. But then it was like Oh, low sales for Gamecube...well I guess we can't compete with a normal system anymore. Let's come up with some gimmick controller for every console we release...you know, instead of designing a machine that does all the normal things BETTER than the other guys which is all anyone has ever asked of us. People will be so into it they won't even realize our consoles are underpowered. Except....it didn't work with Wii U. It sold worse than Gamecube. So if they're sticking to that same plan again, only changing the name to NOT-Wii, I don't get it.
The name of the game these days is multi-platform. Any console that's drastically underpowered or has a drastically different controller is not going to be supported beyond launch. So as I've said before, it may be cool but it'll be a Nintendo-only box like usual. You can't just take the consoles into the equation either...you have to add PC into the mix. Most games are shared between both formats now. If something can't be easily shared between the PC and other consoles its a game breaker.
