Yes because once the support stops all your current games magically evaporate. Never understood people that sell consoles/handhelds if the games dry up. Just put it in a closet somewhere and play something else, until something interesting comes up and you dust it off again. Like the games you mentioned.

Because the only games I would replay if I still had my 3DS would be Kid Icarus Uprising and Shin Megami Tensei IV. I'd much rather take the $300 from selling all my 3DS items and get a Wii U instead (which is what I did).

Honestly I have thought about selling mine as well. I had a original 3ds when they first came out that I did sell. However there are enough games that I think I will go back and revisit plus a couple Dragon Quest games coming down the pipeline which I will enjoy.
SMT4 is boring though. I tried to like it, but it didn't work out for me. Having a much better time with P4G.
See, I'm the exact opposite. Although I love the Persona games, they tend to overstay their welcome juuust a bit much. I love the battles, I love the personas, the social link aspects and moral themes... but they're soooooo long. You need a good amount of patience and fortitude to reach the end. SMT games are more my style. They're a bit more open ended, they have multiple endings. The battles tend to be quicker... but most of all: I am a HUGE mythology nut. The hundreds upon hundreds of mythological creatures from cultures all over the world... fusing them, discovering all of them. That NEVER gets old. I really go for the heaven/hell, good/evil, everything being a matter of perspective type of philosophy too.
They're both top-notch game series, better than FF has been in the last few years, to say the least, but Tensei gets my vote!
If only for the comedic value of watching them kick your ass, every single time, yes!

Jesus fuck! I JUST brought a Vita from something awful. The guy essentially gave it to me for charity. It is virtually BRAND NEW and comes with a case, a digital game, and a 64 GB card. All for $125. In case you aren't aware a 64GB card is around $90 USED. So I essentially got the Vita (when subtracting the $25 I paid for a 8GB card) for the same price of a new game. Couldn't have asked for a better deal! I got Persona 4 Golden and Ys: Memories of Celceta with it!
Hethen! SMTIV is the best RPG ever! I tried P4 before but I got bored of it. But I JUST brought P4G so I'll see if second time is the charm.
