STP was one of my favorite bands going back to highschool (Velvet Revolver could fuck off) so I'm a little sad to see him go, but not very. The way I look at is Scott Weiland lived longer than he was ever supposed to. Some people can live a full life in half the time, and he did.

I'm sort of the same. I was big time into grunge in my early teens and even from back then we knew Layne Staley, Scott Weiland and Mark Lanegan would all one day OD. The first two lived longer than we'd thought and Lanegan may have overcome his afflictions for good (though you're never home and dry with these things).
Still sad to hear the news.
Another sad thing is that STP were around at the time of Grunge but they weren't from Seattle they were from California so they were immediately scorned as sell-outs and never had the credibility of some of the other bands even though they were better than a lot of them and in Weiland they had a charismatic frontman. I used to listen to the first three STP CDs (and Weiland's solo album) quite a lot.
Velvet Revolver was an attempt by redundant musicians to cash-in on the names of their previous bands. It was never meant to be anything else.
I am trying to go through it! This pleases me.
Btw I am about to order P4G, one of those Aksys VN games and Disgaea 3 for the vita.

ROBIO! I hope you are aware of this: Ono and Harada are going at it on Live Stream at PSX right now.
Seth Killian is there too, but... yawn!
Ono and Harada are taking jabs at each other.
Ono's got his Blanka figure and is taking selfies while they are asking questions.
They are kinda ignoring the host and talking about whatever they want to talk about.
Harada was making fun of Turbo, Super, Ultra, Dash Street Fighter...
Low blow!
Harada told Ono to make another Street Fighter movie and to include Captain Sawada.
For all the shit Harada is talking, no one is asking him about Tekken X Street Fighter...
They are having a blast. Good to see such a relaxed panel...
Ono is actually making the audience do Hadouken's so he can take pictures of Blanka with the audience!
Just wanted to add: I've been playing an incredibly high quality Picross game for the last three days that I got absolutely FREE!
Free? Why that can't be true. It must be some sort of scam. I don't believe it!
You can get it yourself right now, if you want!
As long as you play a few puzzles at a time, you're good!
Oh and fun fact, when you use the voice-to-text button, Picross comes out as pie crust.
Bloodstained!
Scott Weiland, the singer from 90's Hard Rock band Stone Temple Pilots, was found dead the other day on his tour bus. He was 48 years old.
Always loved STP...they were easily one of the better radio friendly rock bands of the past 20 years. Scott, I salute you!
