Cheers.
"Downloading" just appears to make it readable offline in the browser, rather than download a digital file which can be accessed outside of the brower, though.
Just started playing portal 2, apparently I am the dumbest fuck whose ever fucked because I annot even understand the first puzzle.
Good intro though.
the pipes next to the elevators, you mean on the top level in front of the opening to the top section? Yes I do that. I recon the levels and discovered it a long time ago. Regarding ALL teammates insisted on sticking to the top of the map, I learned that you can just leave the top to the other team, ink everything else and still win.
I'm not happy with the new museum map, I can still come out as the highest scorer but it doesn't feel satisfying. As an aerospray user the large open environments mean I can be easily seen and tracked down and virtually every other gun has more range than me so I lose every one on one encounter. Also there is no flow to the level, you can't develop routes to travel with a loop. You are at the mercy of these rotating towers and you're a sitting duck whilst waiting for them to sloooowly turn. Also to actually get into the opposing teams territory, I'm talking about the area near the spawn point is damned difficult to do and you are left standing in full view on a metal grate waiting for the last platform to rotate. I believe you harrassed me on one and I died.
While you wait you are at the mercy of dead respawners coming back into the match.
Also there are 4 plateaus in which you can be trapped in, two are the top, two on the bottom. There are far too many glass surfaces in the map. I hope an update increases the speed of rotation on the platforms.
Guys check-out this Devils Third video review, it makes it look good.
Playing the Fatal Frame Wii U trial version.
Liking it so far. What exactly were your control problems Robio? I find them fine, they are somewhat deliberately restricted but that's all in aid of the atmosphere and horror setting. The character models are excellent, graphics are decent, great in the dark, lighting is great. The whole oppressive atmosphere is spot on and the use of sound is creepy and very effective. The camera obscurer controls are great but the fov is restricted, I hope the camera upgrades change that. The only real problem is that I'm stuck in a room with the game telling me to photo something and it's not registering. Either it's a bug or I'm missing something.
No, I mean traveling up, right next to the elevators. They make travelling around the map much, much faster, and I have seen no one do it save for myself untill yesterday. Here's a pic:
The pipes are just left and right of the center of the screen. The left ones are painted blue, the right ones pink.
The wide central area favors rollers too much as they can cover turf much faster and there's too much room to confront them head-first. Also, the turning towers next to the central one make for good high ground, but since they turn it's almost not worth the effort to make it up there in the first place.
And yeah, despite being nerfed, rollers are still too powerfull, being able to instakill you with one flik of the brush. I also don't understand why every other weapon that gets added is the Kraken special.
You and anyone else who owns Splatoon needs to check out my Miiverse post on it STAT I have found a huge glitch, unfairly affecting inkzooka users on the museum map. Pictures included.
Heh, I'm sure that'll get patched really soon. You'd think that of all people, Nintendo would playtest those things to death before setting them free in the wild. But for now, I'll always feel just that bit safer in the center of that map
I am in the hospital and am going to have my appendix removed.,, yay
Will they let you keep it in a glass jar?
I have no experience with having parts of my body removed, save the odd tooth. I hope this will be less painfull than my imagination can make it seem.
I hope so too.
Sounds like owning Splatoon would have prevented that.
Oh no, how did they diagnose it?
It'll be a month or two before they patch it. It also affects the other pillars too. Fricking sucks.
Anyhow, finished The Fatal Frame free trial version. Not good.
The graphics are great, the atmosphere is awesome, the controls are decent..... until they decide to throw multiple ghosts at you from all 360 degrees. You can run away from them to get more time and distance but being ghosts, instead of ambling towards you like zombies they disappear and reappear close to you.
The combat system is also kinda weird you hit weak spots which fragments into the air then hit all at once to finish them. The aiming needed a bounding box. Other than that it's just boring. You walk walk walk, pick up the odd flashing object, watch boring cutscene then ghost time. Yawn.
It's really old school, if you're into that sort of thing.
See I know the controls are designed to be somewhat restrictive, but they took it too far or they just suck. Turning more than 20 degrees is way too slowing clunky. I can understand moving/walking slowly to play of the fear, but it shouldn't be that hard to simply turn.
And I also had the same issues trying to photograph particular objects in order to progress that you're having. Happens again later in the demo too.
Also another thing that sucks about the inkzooka in Splatoon is that every shot pushes you back. I have been pushed back into water insta-death while firing and if you find a good ledge to perch on one shot will push you off it and waste your special. I've never seen another special with so many drawbacks. It's great for nailing snipers though.
If you are talking about camera aiming yes. If you are talking about turning while walking/running you can just uturn by holding the stick back and tapping the ZL button. Kinda like Zelda 64, one button camera control.
The limited FOV on the gamepad screen sucks.
Still, if it goes cheap in the eShop I might grab it.
You seem to loathe the Inkzooka a lot for someone who uses it so often.
The killer whail pushes you back too, quit your whining
CT scan GG. Had stomach pains and fever.
