I'll tell you what. Every album that has come out this year that I was looking forward to has been the best album from each group in ages. Outside of the Slayer anyway....I haven't heard that yet other than what they played live.
It depends on what you want but,
The new Soulfly is awesome. Like a mixture of Chaos AD & Conquer. Its called "Archangel". The new Nightwish was really good, called "Endless Forms".
The new Cradle of Filth is their best since 2000's Midian. Its called Hammer of the Witches. Excellent lead guitar.
Hate Eternal's new album is possibly their best. Called Infernus. New Fear Factory is awesome. On par with Mechanize. That is called Genexus.
And the new Ghost is great. I like these guys a lot. That's called Meliora.

Mine has it with all the other new games for all systems and easily visible. With Wal-mart I think it all depends on the particular person who puts the games on display.

Nintendo files patent for new shoulder buttons
Looks like they're basically talking about clickable scrollwheels that are mainly being used as shoulder buttons. That could work. It'd also make stuff like navigating monster hunter item lists a lot more user friendly.
As long as Xenoblade doesn't get pushed back, I'm happy.
I really hope Nintendo markets the fuck out of it like you would see for a Final Fantasy title. But I doubt it.

Starfux being delayed sucks IMO, makes me believe Nintendo promised Zelda and Starfox this year just to get people to jump on U earlier knowing full well they wouldn't get them out on time. But I can play Splatoon endlessly and get Mario Maker maybe. XCX will keep you occupied for a good 100 hours.
