New Splatoon map is awesome.
Whoa, konami bowing out of AAA development. We saw it coming but it's still crazy. I wonder if they would consider selling the Metal Gear rights?
Konami's only triple A titles were MGS and PES. Not like there's going to be much difference if they're still making PES.
Castlevania and Elebits aren't Triple A? Kidding.....About Castlevania.![Nyaa](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)
But they haven't been doing Castlevania games either. That last one is what, 3 years old?
The world would be a better place if Elebits was a triple A title.*
*Not that I've played more than 2 minutes of it.

The whole Konami thing should be interesting to watch play out. If I'm not mistaken it was less than a month ago they sent out that survey to find out which of their old franchises people would be interested in playing, and it had things like Contra, Castlevania, and Sunset Riders on it. I hope they'll at least continue as a developer in the mid-tier level. Or at the very least maybe they'll sell off or license their properties. I could use a new Bomberman you know?
And in other news let me tell you, it does not take a lot of imagination or cleverness to get banned on Neogaf.
What did you do now?
For me Konami hit their peak in the 16-bit era. After that they mostly started to decline. They lost a bunch of great staff members who went on to form Treasure, they had difficulties transitioning some of their great IP's into the 3D realm, and they struck it big with the casual market with stuff like Dance Dance Revelution. Of course they still had some great stuff with Symphony of the Night, Silent Hill, Suikoden, and Metal Gear Solid. Sadly I don't see them doing much with their IP catalogue besides using as branding for their gambling machines and making cheap mobile games.
I just made a joke...
So you you were the jackass who made the joke about Japanese people being lazy? :/
I don't recall being a jackass.
Konami has been a washed up publisher/developer for years. Outside of Metal Gear and handheld Castlevania's what quality titles have they released over the past TEN YEARS? All I can think of is Contra 4, which was an accident as they gave the game to a then shovelware developer who wanted to turn things around (Wayforward).
One of the site's forefathers.
Yeah I pretty much agree.
They made a few other quality handheld titles like Lost in Blue/Survival Kids and the Death Jr. games, and a couple good Silent Hill games. But they were on past gen systems (DS, PSP, Wii) its' been a long time since they were made. Damn shame considering the library of IPs they're sitting on.
PSA: There's a Flash Sale going on PSN right now. I just grabbed Persona 4 for $2.50.
Ok need some help from my USA brothers. In October I am going to travel around the South West part of the U S of A. My sister and I will start in Cajun Country and end up in Florida. We will visit Orlando. The plan is to spend two days there and visit various amusement parks. Of course the Magic Kingdom will be on the list, but I need some recommendations for some other amusement parks. Robio I am looking at you, some tips please?
