Guys, that plane that crashed, the co-pilot crashed it deliberately. Locked the pilot out of the cockpit when he went to the toilet. Shocking.

Yeah, that's some crazy stuff.  The world sure has changed a lot the last 15 years.

I haven't followed the news much today, but I find it odd that in a span of 8 minutes they couldn't break down the door.  I mean seriously, all those doors are is 2 thin sheets of aluminum with some foam inbetween.

Konami tries to explain Kojima Productions snub:

The erasing of the Kojima Productions branding from both Metal Gear Solid V and older Metal Gear titles is down to a “change in production organization”, according to Konami.

The still mysterious apparent fallout between the Metal Gear creator and his employer came to light last week, along with confirmation from Konami that it is hiring a new set of developers for a new Metal Gear game and the discovery that mentions of Kojima are being wiped from old pack shots.

“In accordance with the recent change in production organisation of all of Konami, Kojima Productions, as well as other internal production companies, has had its name, etc, changed to move into the corporate headquarters work structure,” is the somewhat dry explanation offered by the company via its Japanese language Twitter account, as reported by Kotaku.

When pressed on Kojima’s situation, however, the PR line remained resolute: Yes, he’s working on MGSV. No, we’ve got nothing to say beyond that. Which is much the same as Kojima himself has said.

“Naturally director Kojima is playing the game, checking all the small details and giving directions to the staff as the title continues to completion,” it added. “Bringing the thoughts and ideas of director Kojima in an open world game of the size of MGSV is incredibly difficult, the director and the team that’s been there from the start are coming together as one as they aim to finish the game, so please give them the support they need.”

The site adds that in a recent interview a Konami PR spokesperson also elaborated on the claims that the Kojima team has had its access to internal internet, email and other services restricted:

“It true that during the organisational change, there were things that were revised. [This was done to make an environment where staff could give] undivided attention to development.”

The same rep refused to comment on whether Kojima was no longer a full-time employee and was now working on a contract, but did confirm that he will be less involved with MGSV’s pre-release promotion than he has been for other games.

On that theme, Polygon reports that the Kojima Station video podcast, in which Kojima discusses the game’s development, has been “paused”. It had been due out today. It also points out that the last original tweet on Kojima’s personal account, which is usually very active, was made a few days before the news of the disagreement broke.

It contained simply the words “heading off” and a picture of MGS star Snake boarding a helicopter.

The spin.

I've been playing Resident Evil HD for a few hours. Man this game is still so awesome. What I miss about these old Resident Evil games is just the slow oozing atmosphere they have....there is nothing that has atmosphere like these games. You really feel like you're IN the mansion. HD version isn't much improved over the Gamecube original, which is a testament to how amazing that game was in the first place. But it does have slightly cleaner graphics and slightly better surround sound.

Hey did Sony add a new feature to the PS4 that takes screenshots of the trophies you earn? I just noticed the last trophy I got has a screenshot attached to it...I've never seen this before in ANY game on PS3 or PS4. If this is a new thing they're doing, its a brilliant idea. Every time you earn a trophy the system automatically snaps a pic of you earning it? Awesome.

I'm disappointed to see that they're brining back Liu Kang in MKX. I thought it was rather bold that they killed him off in the last game. He was meant to be the face of the franchise, but ended up being overshadowed by a lot of other characters. Killing him off seemed like a good way of saying, "okay our version of Ryu wasn't what you wanted."

I am disappointed they are bringing anyone back after the last MK. Don't know how they are going to explain that, but, then again, I don't know if they try to keep a continued story line between games anymore either...

There were a handful of survivors. Sonya, Johnny, and Raiden. I want to say Smoke made it too, but I could be wrong there. Scorpion was already dead so no harm in bringing him back again. And anyone can be Sub-Zero.

Scares me to death to get on a plane, but if you want to think about an incredibly morbid thought, people like this are behind the wheels of their cars every day. I'll be very curious to hear about this co-pilot as time goes on just to see if there's anything that explains his actions.

Bullshit. Sega's entire library isn't worth $990.

Well since 9/11 they reinforced the doors so that they could even withstand a grenade blast.
