I am man enough to admit when I am wrong about something, and Oh was I wrong about Double Helix's Strider game. It actually IS pretty frickin' cool and they did a great job modernizing concepts introduced in the 90's Genesis game! I am very impressed! Makes me kinda curious now about Killer Instinct, but not enough to get an Xbox One yet... I love it when I actually purchase a Metroid-Vania style game and don't realize it until I start to get into it. I'll take em over regular action games ANY time!

I just made a huge error. I checked out Steam's Christmas Sales
Despite knowing that I have absolutely no time to spare, and that I just can't stomach sitting at my desk to game, I just bought MG Rising, or whatever it's called, the Platinum one, for €4.
I feel your pain. Square-Enix had a sale on the Google Play shop for their Android games, and I ended up buying Dragon Quest 8. I'm going to have to spent 60 hours playing a tablet game now...
Bought Art of Balance on Wii U.
Pretty good game, fairly simple so far though. Also you know what I realised? The Christmas eshop music is the same they play on Christmas day in Animal Crossing.
Wii U has 19 games on metacritic with 85+ scores Compared to 8 games on all other current gen consoles combined

I'm having a hard time figuring out how to get youtube vids playing on here again.
Seems like youtube has changed their embed shit around, yet again, and now I'm lost because the :http thing isn't working.
When you are on a page for a YouTube video you want to post here, look at the address bar at the top. You'll see a string of letters, numbers and characters after an equal sign (=) in the address. Copy that.
Use this link and Paste the copied characters into the Box after the line that says Insert the last part of the YouTube video URL:
Click the "Generate" button after doing that.
Copy the box that says: Standard definition embed :
Paste those contents as html here, as we used to do; You don't have to worry about the :http edit anymore.
"Submit" after that and it should work!
