In case you missed it elsewhere, here is my Aussie retail wrap-up.
Went to K-mart, which is supposiedly having a great deal on Wii U. There game section for Nintendo was about 1 yard wide and was titled "Wii" and had a mish-mash of Wii and Wii U titles ranging from $80 to $29. They had a single Wii U basic in stock and were selling it for $450.
I went to Big-W (Walmart) and they had a Mario Bundle for $430.
Same for Target. They had a Skylanders bundle for $300. So no deal.
I went to a retro game store today. They had nothing but shit that was overpriced on top of that, which would put my collection at their retail prices at $105,000 (it's worth probably $8,000 on Ebay). Their collection was smaller too, but god bless them for having a retro store in a mall.
For me Need for Speed Hot Pursuit and Arcade Craft on PC. Enjoying both.
I tried to stop playing NFSHS, but it kept calling me back, so will now play until completion.
Lame. Bad luck, dude.
It blows my mind that they even have Target in Australia.
Down there I think it's called Tagit.
Did anyone here play Child of Light? For all the hype and good reviews it got, I don't actually know of anyone who played the game on any system.
Have you considered the Refurbished Wii U bundles (consensus is that they're in fact new) that Nintendo is selling direct? - https://store.nintendo.com/ng3/us/po/browse/productDetailColorSizePicker.jsp?productId=prod150200 They're $200 USD. THey won't ship outside of the US or Canada, but it certainly wouldn't be an issue to have someone in the states get it and then send it your way. Of course then it's be a North American system, and with the region lock you'd be limited to games again. But if memory serves correct you do already have one Wii U game.
That is not such a big problem nowadays as every retail game is made available digitally.
... oh wait. I just remembered Aspro's internet data cap.

Got it. Played it for a few minutes. Painfully beautiful to look at, but didn't get too far into the actual gameplay yet. VERY emotional story, even from the start. Not in the mood for it at the moment. Heard it is absolutely worthwhile, as will Valiant Hearts be.
Yep, he's trapped behind the Iron Data Curtain. If my estimates are correct, his bandwidth would be exceeded after the system updates and he downloads one NES game from the Virtual Console.
He can purchase MK8 and get a free dl, and play his Zombie u while waiting for them to ship.
This. I almost bought it but no one has impressions.
That goes against the very principle of the founding of the ring of fire, it breaks the no assholes rule.
Been scouring hy and lo rule for those little creatures. Only 2 left. Also on last dungeon.
I posted a hint on Miiverse.
Also don't forget to get the other tunic in the last dungeon.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
I got two ores, forged my sword, now lorule blacksmith says there are two more? where? Also I can't remember where the mother makami cave is.
Search dungeons and see if there is a treasure chest you missed in those dungeons.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
This week I have been playing Animal Crossing New Leaf (I played it everyday for a whole year Friday was a year since I created my town.)
I also played Super Mario 3D World finally beat all the levels I just have to get all the stars and touch the top of every flagpole.
I also played Game Dev Tycoon I beat the campaign to last 35 years. They still have a 40 year campaign and a 30 year campaign; you can still continue the game even after you beat the campaign.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
Over the weekend I played a bit of Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze. I mostly love it but there are some levels which seriously try my patience... like for instance the under-water levels. I just wasted an hour and 15-20 lives or more trying to beat the stupid fubu-fish boss
