I can't tell if that's worse...its just different lighting.
The DS charger doesn't work for the 3DS?
I have charged my 3DS with the charger that came with my DSi because they look exactly a like and it worked.
My nephew doesn't know where his 3DS charger is so I always have to tell him to use his DSi charger.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
Is the dsi charger different from DS lite?
I have no idea I didn't own a DS lite or DS. I only had the DSi.
Edit* I just looked it up and yeah the DSi charger is different. Nintendo made sure that the DSi, DSi XL, 3DS, 3DS XL, and I think 2DS all use the same charger.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
Time for disambiguation:
The first DS charger (for the phat DS) was identical to the GBA SP and GBA micro charger.
The DSLite had a different charger (smaller plug)
The DSi (I think) had the same charger as the DSLite.
The DSi XL has a different charger again (slightly bigger plug than the DSLite)
The 3DS has an identical plug to the DSiXL.
The 3DS XL has an identical plug to the 3DS and by extention to the DSiXL.
So as long as your DSi is the XL model then you can use the same charger for that and your 3DS. But not any of the chargers for the earlier DS models

I'm still working on Guacamelee. I made it to the Temple of War. The platforming is punishing so I'm surprised I've made it this far.
I need to put a sticker on my chargers. ALBW looks awesome BTW, I don't know why 3D is being played down these days I love it.
The 3D is usually crappy, but ALBW is an exception.
Black Ranger hasn't aged a day!
!?
...
Oh. Wait. No it's not. Nevermind!
Serves you right. If you had played this game sooner, that wouldn't have happened.
...family obligations done for the moment, I am looking forward to a beer or two and some Final Fantasy XIV. I think I have earned it. To hell with the fact that's it's only 4:30 in the afternoon!
I have a Summoner to train!
I've been drinking a beer since 4:30. Oh, you mean it's too early in the day to play FF.
So, I played the Mario Kart 8 demo at Walmart today. What can I say about it? It's Mario Kart. It's almost exactly the same game as MK7 on 3DS, except now it's in HD. Maybe it's just Walmarts crappy demo TV, but I was surprised to see noticable jaggies on screen. It looks like a 720p game running on a 1080p screen; I could have sworn MK is a 1080p game, but I guess not. To be completely honest, I found it kinda boring to play (same with MK7). The whole F-Zero-ish track design wasn't nearly as much fun as it could have been. Nintendo played it safe on this one. That's not a bad thing, but it's just not enough for me to pay $60 for it. Once it's down to $30, I might give it a go.
^ BTW, if I could have also gotten Wonderful 101 for free with MK8 purchase, then I would have done so. You fucked up, Reggie!
Which one's the black one?
Okay, maybe I'm judging MK8's gameplay a bit too harshly. I just played a couple rounds or MK Wii with the Wii Wheel, and I have to admit, it's still a lot of fun. Maybe it's not MK 7 & 8 themselves that I'm finding boring, but the analogue stick control scheme instead? Walmart's MK8 demo station only had analogue stick controls enabled, not motion.
