The first two games, the first one in particular still had platformer DNA in it. Many of the best moments came from simply finding how to reach that shard. Some levels were designed around gigantic structures that you had to climb and fight on, leading to uncharted like moments where climbing and combat were one. Here its just fly everywhere and simply run in circles while you fight.



I am very disappointed.

It's like Lego City vs Marvel. Part of City was platforming to get up to a gold brick.

In Lego marvel you just hold down the fly button and it removes all challenge.

Ended up buying at Newegg with extra controller, NBA 2k14 and PS+ year for a 23.50 saving off plus NBA was 34.99 to start so it was a pretty good deal 521.98 with free 3 day UPS, I will probably buy a few more games.

Seems it is split on Infamous reactions, many think it is fantastic and the best one. Crazy but whatever.

Also its still fun to play, short and simple and on second thought I probably should have rented it but still a good game.

Hmmm sadly it now seems Perfect Dark is a game I will never get to enjoy.  Less than ten minutes was enough to make me very nauseous and cause me to vomit.  I didn't even get to the first mission.  Navigating those blue rooms in the hub was enough.

I knew I had this issue with N64 era shooters but I thought that it had got a little less severe in more recent years and that perhaps the improved visuals of the 360 version would make it easier for me to stomach ... but I was wrong.  

That's so weird, do you have this problem with most first person games?

The old ones yes.  They make me very motion sick.  I first noticed when I was trying to play Quake while I was at university.  I was feeling like shit and was being made very sick.  It took me a while to realise it was the game that was causing it, I thought I had gastritis or some kind of virus.

I had the same problem with Golden Eye on N64 though I did play it (in very very short bursts with very long breaks in between)

Also had some trouble with 3D games on the DS.  At first Mario Kart DS made me sick but luckily I got used to it fairly quickly and it stopped bothering me.

Since graphics and frame-rates improved the issue became less severe and almost disappeared but today was a big reminder that it's still there.  I'm still sick from Perfect Dark and I'm having to lie down and do nothing.

Yeah I remember you mentioning it but hadn't heard it affecting you for ages.
