Foolz did you see my post on the podcast a page back?
An Edge quote is not sufficient. We need Don Frye.
She is so beautiful, that I would drag my pecker through miles of broken glass, only to jack off in the shadow of the last man that banged her!
Yep, please correct away; actually I was left wondering how half the shit worked. Not a good game to do impressions based on a limited about of play time lol. I once blocked early on; could never work out how to do it again. I may have imagined it...
You dont know how to block? lol.
Get a shield put it on the left hand and press L1, L2 is parry. get two of the same type of weapon on each hand and if your stats 1.5x the required stats to handle the weapon you can dual wield by entering the strong stance with the left hand weapon (hold triangle), you will raise the sword a bit, now attacks damage with both swords at the same time.
I've always seen Maxim as being like those specialty Digital Photography magazines that show you how to manipulate images.
Yes. Luckily I'm usually pretty good at dodging in games. How does the running work differently to how I described it? (Hopefully better.)
Skate 2 was apparently not bad, and any month with Retro Game Challenge in it is a win.
I've watched a ton of videos on it. Many more than I usually do. And from what I can see it appears to be almost exactly like the original ones, just with better graphics and hopefully controls. Can't see anything wrong with that.
That's exactly what I'm hoping for....wish Capcom would do the same with Resident Evil.
Well that's just silly talk. Now go play RE6 and have fun with the flips and jump kicks or something.
It's incredibly old school in a lot of ways. They didn't even try to do an english dub; it's in Japanese with sub-titles. It also has that very distinct, Koei Tecmo art-style and type of animation that's also VERY Japanese. Very similar to Dark Souls, actually. You play as the Devil's daughter. She has three companion demons; they represent the different types of deaths you cause. One is Sadistic, One is Humiliating, the other Elaborate. You earn points in each of the three styles depending on the traps of theirs you use and they will also give you bonus challenges throughout the stages that will award you a lot more points and better traps. Trap placement seems to be easier than past versions, there's environmental trap devices and you can capture your enemies on occasion too. The story goes something like: There's a group of 12 Saints that sealed away the Devil. The stone they used to do so was divided up amongst the decendants of these saints. You lure them to the castle and kill them and their defenders to retrieve the stone to free your father. Haven't played too much of it yet, Thanks to Witch and the Hundred Knight, TLoU and BioShock Infinite DLC, but I'll let you know more when I do!
I watched a video of a Sadistic entrapment and a humiliating entrapment (or whatever you want to call the set-ups). The sadistic one was genuinally cringeworthy. It was like, "how much bad shit can we do to this knight?" And the humiliating one just about had me laughing out loud. It's also a little further down my list of games to play, but I still expect to get to it sometime in April. That will really depend on whether or not I get interested in GFP again..
But what is on your list of video games to play?
Running and jumping works as you say but you claimed you couldnt jump in DS1 or something. In DS2 they made it easier to jump by clicking L3, it used to be that you had to hold the run button then slightly release it and quickly repress it to jump.
In general I would love to come on and talk about the souls games cause while Aspro does sort of get it he seems to put it down. I must defend it.
I'm on disc 4 & this is all I'm playing until its done.
Next Gen owners! How noticeable is screen tearing on PS4? I've been playing Far Cry 3 and love it. It hits the spot for me at the moment. Only the screen tearing is just atrocious at times and really detracts from the experience. It's the only negative I have about the game at the moment.
I haven't noticed any screen tearing on PS4.
Are there any options for V-sync on Farcry 3? If so, make sure it's enabled; that should reduce or eliminate screen tearing. Your framerate might not be as smooth, though.
Taking a bit of a break from Dark Souls to tie up some loose ends. To that end, I've been clearing a bit of my DLC backlog this weekend:

**Finished Episode One and Two of this!**
**Finally got to this! Burial at Sea was better though!**
**Started this too! Don't understand the bad rap it's been given; it's GORGEOUS and fun!**

What about you, miserable piles of secrets?
This weekend I played Burial At Sea 2, and spent a few hours in each of these games: World of Warcraft, StarCraft 2, Diablo 3 and Hearthstone. I'll also be playing TLoU Left Behind DLC later tonight.
