"I can’t get over how streamlined, easy to understand, and enjoyable this particular adventure is." Now we have both sides of the spectrum.

Lame. I hope they are not inducing you to quit so they don;t have to pay unemployment etc...
How long is Papo Y Yo? I am five hours in.
You should have finished it an hour or two ago.
**Don't know why I bother. I posted this in response to GameSpot's review of Guided Fate Paradox... or at least, I tried to, but good old GS is more broken than ever, and it wouldn't post at all.**
"Why they would give this type of game to a guy who mostly reviews fighting games is anyone's guess... Actually, no, I take this back. Looking at the current state of GameSpot, the forums and the recent plummeting of site traffic, it does make sense... somewhat. GS has been dropping the average of all the games they review lately, giving the lowest scores of all sites, seemingly all in the name of "click bait." Problem is, this game is so niche and probably had so few followers already, that they aren't going to cause any media buzz with this one, they're just going to annoy the few "gamers" out there that would actually care about a title like this.
Just check this out.
That he started this review by saying this is a "turn-based RPG on a grid" shows right from the start he has little experience with this genre and probably little interest in playing the game in the first place. Although he says it eventually, yes, this game is a "ROGUE-LIKE" and I capitalize this because it's the very epitome of the genre. To say otherwise or approach the game expecting anything else is just misguided and wrong.
It just happens to be a rogue-like from the original makers of Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, so you should also know to expect (1)Level-Grinding, (2)Crazy Character Development Systems, (3)Bizarre Humor in Plot Details and Dialogue and (4)Nearly Unlimited Post-Game Content. Just their take on the whole Cinderella story in the very first chapter is going to make you laugh, THEN make your jaw drop with a few "no-way!" philosophical twists that will stop and make you think for a moment or two. Absolutely typical of this developer and completely welcomed here. I will concede that sometimes the cut-scenes do tend to slow the game down a bit, but you're going to want to pay attention anyway, and there's ALWAYS the post-game!
As is customary these days, ignore this GS review. If you are a fan of rogue-likes, or if you have been looking for a game like Shiren the Wanderer, Chocobo's Dungeon, Izuna: The Unemployed Ninja, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon or Torneko: The Last Hope... Well, here it is, all wrapped up in a crazy Nippon Ichi plot and game-play system with character designs by Noizi Ito, so you know it PLAYS and LOOKS just fine!"
This is interesting, Arkham City compared to Origins, U grabs
Did a secret E3 happen today or what? Why did MS have to embargo everything till today? Just increases my workload.
Oh wait it's mostly resolutiongate stuff.

My comment on the Guided Fate Paradox couldn't be posted --BUT-- a Mr. MacauleyMcDerp's comment of: "um.. on every other site it got 8/10, 'A story about becoming God that is somehow completely dull' .. never played a NIS game huh son" posted just fine. I can see the differentiation. His not-at-all-alternate-trolling-profile, his three whole months of membership at GameSpot and his finely-crafted, well thought out comment... Mine just doesn't compare. He is the epitome of the type of user GS is looking for these days, and illiterate, inexperienced trolls like myself have no place there anymore. Keep up the good work, GS!
Leo you're like a battered wife with GameSpot. Why can't you just leave already??
Submitted for proof that any shred of the old GameSpot is long-gone and dead, is this "topic" just posted in the Games Discussion forum:
Yes, the topic title is "What dis shit?' Yes, the topic poster's name is SirSlimyScrotum, and YES, a MODERATOR saw fit to move from wherever this gem of a topic was posted originally INTO the Games Discussion Forum. Yes, friends, the End of Days for our beloved hobby is drawing near. This is just a sign of the upcoming Apocalypse.
Anybody wanna question why I am posting online less and less these days?
Sometimes you want to post in a place which has some anonymity and isn't so personal. Sometimes the less people know you the better. I have deleted GameSpot innumerable times lately from my Favorites, but I keep going back, for lack of alternatives. Sometimes the best place to go when you want to be left alone is to be in the middle of a crowd. That's the only reason. GS is a mess though and I don't know how much longer it's even going to serve that purpose.
You've become a bandwidth preservationist?
Because of my Saints Row IV review?
Sorry, haven't read or listened yet. I take it, it wasn't good?
