I probably should play more Saints Row 3.
Saints Row IV is probably the ---BEST--- open-world game this generation will ever see...
...and, yes, I know what's coming out later this month!
Imagine GTA + inFamous + Hulk: Ultimate Destruction + Spiderman 2 + CrackDown + Saints Row 3...
...and that still doesn't even do it justice!
This is a game EVERY, SINGLE, SOLITARY G-A-M-E-R N--E--E--D--S to play!
God Bless 'Merica!
Finished:

Does it?
I never played it but I hear it was amazing.
I'm playing Papers Please and Papo Y Yo:
It took me a few moments, looking at this picture to realize what this PAX Cosplayer was playing...
**She has Piranha Plant boobies!**
Nah. The Conduit was okay at best. That pic reminded me of it, though.
What part of the conduit looks like that? All I remember seeing was some Orb thing in the guys hand, a lots of blue color something like Perfect Dark.
Saint's Row 3 never clicked with me. I'm a man who likes excess, but that game kind of crossed a line and I just felt like I needed a prozac smoothie after playing it.
Like this:
Then SRIV could go either way for you. The Superhero fan in you may go nuts for it, but the adult in you may find it to be too much. Without saying too much, they removed some aspects of the gameplay and then cranked other aspects up to 11.5!
I have been playing Crysis 3, which is definitely better than Crysis 2. They have totally left behind the vibe that their 1st two games, Far Cry and the original Crysis, had though. The new Crysis games have a much more scripted, hollywood vibe to them...which they do well but I do miss the old Crysis style.
Also playing Game of Thrones. Gameplay wise, its not much to write home about but its decent. Where its really solid is in its storytelling and characters.
Also Metal Gear Rising...pretty great game. I'm not as much of an action game fan as Dvader and some of you guys are...I like my games with a bit more adventure flavor. But when they are done well, I can really get into them and this game is done well.
Kind of put GTA 4, Xenoblade, and a few others on the backburner.
I mean this in all seriousness: Playing Saints Row IV is like going back to your College Campus / Town for an extended weekend with your buds. You'll have an AMAZING time... You'll feel carefree and rebellious all at the same time, all to the sound of Jamaican Reggae music playing in the background... You'll party, have fun, exhaust yourself to the point of information overload, but, at the end of the day, you'll STILL have a smile on your face that says: "God Damn! I can't do this all of the time, but I'm having the time of my life!"
With all the talk of Xbox One being Microsoft's last console it makes me wonder....are the people in charge at Microsoft and their investors just not satisfied unless they have a complete monopoly over something? Because that's what it seems like it would take for them to consider Xbox a success. Just 100% control over gaming.
I'll still pass on it. I'm even burned out on superhero stuff. The mainstreaming of superhero movies kind of oversaturated me. Seriously, all these fucking people who bought tickets to see The Avengers.... you know what you did??? You completely and utterly fucked up the comic books now. YOU PEOPLE!! Now all the mainstream publishers write stories that relate directly to the movies or they write easy to pick-up copies to get new readers, and in the process toss aside all the history and loyal fans who've been supporting them for years, just like Superman does with a used condom after he's done Wonder Woman. That's right!!! Superman is fucking Wonder Woman. Where's Lois Lane? Oh she's around. She doesn't matter though. Same with Spider-Man. He used magic to make the entire fucking world forget that he and Mary Jane got married!!! Why??? So he could be a young swinger again and wouldn't have to get a divorce. It's fucked up and the god damned movies are to blame.
....I'm a little bitter.
Stock holders are seemingly the least informed people on earth when it comes to how companies make money. It's always about, "why isn't this making us more money?" It wasn't that long ago when some investors in Nintendo were asking why they don't make mobile games and such.
Allrighty then... That settles that!
You should --->DEFINITELY<--- play it!
I played only .Beat and .Void. Couldn't beat Beat (hah), but Void was much more easy. We played a lot of Beat in 4 player local co-op. One of the best experiences of this gen, which kind of makes me sad.
