Kamiya is complaining on twitter that Nintendo is not promoting wonderful 101. Nintendo will start soon cause they have a direct on it but cearly pikmin 3 li's getting most of the love.

It's a horrible move by Nintendo to put this game anywhere near GTAV in the US. The massive wii u drought is about to end with pikmin, if they released W101 first befor pikmin it would generate excitement simply cause its the FIRST big new wii u game in months.

But by releasing pikmin 3 first all the attention goes to pikmin. Very one buys pikmin then a few weeks later another RTS looking kind of game comes out, is anyone going to care after playing pikmin. NO. It's so stupid.

That's a little melodramatic. Ultimately the game has to release when it's ready and will sell accordingly with its appeal - which is fairly low. Kamiya said people didn't understand was kind of game it was and that it's hard to market. Regardless of GTA this game would probably struggle as all Platinum games titles have.

I'm almost frightened to DL Earthbound... I'm nearly positive it can't have aged well, and I don't want to taint the memory!

GG the game is coming out in the UK in August I believe before pikmin as well. They are simply choosing to delay it in America and putting it after pikmin and near GTA. The game was never going to sell well but now it will do even worse.

I have decided to support kamiya, screw pikmin I wi get winderful instead, assuming its a great game of course.

That's great news.  I want New Leaf but I'm in no rush since my son monopolizes the 3DS.
