Despite the costs involved, it always looks stupid to have gross inconsistencies in fidelity between cutscenes and gameplay. Actually, I always enjoyed lavish CGI cutscenes...but that's beside the point. No one else did.

It's a horrible move by Nintendo to put this game anywhere near GTAV in the US. The massive wii u drought is about to end with pikmin, if they released W101 first befor pikmin it would generate excitement simply cause its the FIRST big new wii u game in months.
But by releasing pikmin 3 first all the attention goes to pikmin. Very one buys pikmin then a few weeks later another RTS looking kind of game comes out, is anyone going to care after playing pikmin. NO. It's so stupid.
Nintendo sending it out to die.

If they delayed it because of GTAV everyone would say that they just need to release games becuase there are none.

I know, and then the world falls in on itself becaseu we are playing FMV games again. I still think it is easier/ cheaper to render than to go the SAG route and have gaffers, make-up, teamsters, catering etc... At the very least it is more flexible.

As a gamer, I immediately understood what the red dot was. Nice.

You know what Super Fantasy Zone wasn't included in this list of games? Because Raven and I talked about how cool it would be to have it in 3-D. Naturally Sega saw this and said, "we can't release something people really want, so take out Fantasy Zone. Make sure to add in Altered Beast in that collection while we're at it."
