He's right and also it feels slighty bizaare that Nintendoland is a new game/franchise IP and people don't consider it that. I say it's bizaare because until I read the interview and read Miyamoto saying that, I didn't consider it was a new IP. It never even crossed my mind.
LOL, it's too late for me, this is a PR disaster. They've shown a certain side to how they think about consumers and I want no part of it. The cloud is still going to be used and means your games wont be future proof. Kinect is still there and the price is still unacceptable. And the machine is still weaker than PS4 hardware.
You won't be able to play PSN games forever, either. No point of difference there. On a related note, does Xbox One carry over Arcade games?
Why not? Are you talking about downloaded games? What about the cloud?
So is anyone at all getting Animal Crossing New Leaf or not? I'm going to have to make some new friends elsewhere otherwise with online action going on. Game seems to have more legs and options than the last game, new stuff is slowly opening up each day. Still waiting on a watering can and axe though.
Waiting for it to come in the post bro. Didn't want to buy the download. Wanted the little boxey n t'ing

I meant PSN Cloud games. Though, that's is based on nothing, as the PSN Cloud may as well not exist.
Did you mean Xbox One games that need the cloud for magical extra computing power? There won't be any such thing.
Cool, not sure how this works, think because we are already 3DS friends you just open your gates.
Yes I did mean X1 games that used the cloud for cloud computation and there are already a couple of games in the works, Titanfall and Avalanche seem to be using it too.
Microsoft: PS4 won't make us change "anything" with Xbox One - two weeks ago LOL
I love seeing Microsoft backpedal. I'm sure they've already devised a plan to make consumers bend over once they buy the console.
Read carefully:
Xbox One's cloud vision remains intact
The ‘power of the cloud’ remains a key USP for Xbox One despite Microsoft’s ditching of its unpopular DRM plans.
Xbox One will still exploit the power of digital, Microsoft vows
"we still believe in the power of a digital and cloud-powered future played out at launch and rolled out over time"
So they are going to soft sell you the console then try and roll out these features over time.
XBoned.
I'm a predominantly PC gamer, why would I care about this? :
I was talking about IP, not tech.
Like I said.

$169 for a Wii U Premium. Are you fucking serious, Dick? God damn Kiwis.
This will be very interesting how it all plays out over the next few years. I would love to own all three consoles like I did the last two generations, but right now, that's not happening.
I'd take the bait, if it wasn't region locked.
I'd lol at MS, but lol doesn't cover what I am feeling right now.
This is hell for MS's PR guys, but I doubt it'll be remembered, just like people don't speak of the PSN hack anymore. I can't shake the feeling that if this would have been Sony or Nintendo, they'd stick with it and just prove how great their vision was, despite what everyone was saying. It's just not something I see a Japanese company doing.
Depends how powerful your PC is and whether you care about graphics in multiplatform and console exclusive titles. X1 is significantly more expensive and has worse tech and is dedicating a large chunk of resources to the OS. What X1 IP are you partcularly interested in? You only see one Wii U game as something you want: Sonic Lost World so I'm fairly curious, seeing how you are a PC gamer now too.
Your X1 exclusives list. Will you be getting multiplatform on PC? If not than PS4 seems like the way to go. Or in a crunch if you like gamepad features, U versions?
Can you guys not import?
I can't ever see Nintendo doing this, if only because all I see is Iwata bowing and apologising all the time and making very consumer centric statements on used games and DLC. If anything this Japanese bowing apology thing is probably not what the western audience wants to see. They want brash chest beating.
Reggie says "make games people want to keep" - Miyamoto says that consoles should be "like toys you want to return to" many years later.
Lol, this made my day:

James Gandolfini news seems to be affecting me worse than I thought as the day goes on. Talked to a good friend of mine who was really devastated. He is seeing Bruce Springsteen play in Coventry tonight. Most of the band, Springsteen included are thoroughbred New Jersey old boys. I can't begin to imagine how Steve Van Zandt (Sylvio Dante) is going to stand on stage and play guitar for over three hours after this news. Gandolfini was more than a friend, he was like a brother to him. I think there will be many watershed moments.
