13-year-old slashes friend's throat playing Gears of War 3

Personally, I don't see how that is possible.  If you are playing Gears, you are using both hands on the controller.  How would you hold the knife?

WHAA? Eternal Darkness 2?! Woah. Please don't suck. I worry about all these kickstarter stuff.

That's a lot to ask from an Eternal Darkness game.

edgecrusher said:

The trailer for this new Eternal Darkness looks AWESOME!!!

Did these guys split from Silicon Knights? Why isn't Nintendo publishing this shit?

I've got a guess why...

GodModeEnabled said:

We have a thread about thsi on GGD where Carnage calls Eternal Darkness completely broken. Did any of you guys have problems playing it? Cause I and all my friends sure as hell didn't. (Meaning bugs, glitches, whatever)

It's perfectly functional!  As a repetitive grind with an awful camera and worse controls!

Foolz said:

^No, but the mechanics and level design themselves were pretty damn crap. I still loved it, though.

Oh, so close

Foolz said:

The voice acting and script were atrocious too, yet they somehow managed to pull it all together and make an excellent experience out of crap.

I think you just defined nostalgia

Okay, okay, I think I've gotten that out of my system, you can be excited now...

Because Too Human was great

I'm not sure it can be nostalgia at the time, Yoda. And I also remember you saying you enjoyed the presentation on the podcast when you were talking about it. Nyaa

Yeah, I said the only reason anyone thinks it was anything more than clunky repetitive crap was that it looked and sounded pretty at the start of a new generation.  i.e. nostalgia Nyaa

The backtracking in that game made the death animations in Too Human seem refreshing.

I know this is boring to everyone, but I have to say it.

I hooked up my old monitor in addition to my new one and am using the small one for twitter/email/vgp/chat while using the big one for gaming/ reading.

Now I can be 29 times more distracted while trying to work!

But I didn't, and I was the one defining it...?

Don't worry, though, I am currently engaged in a constant state of confusion.

With the addition of System Shock 2 and Tomb Raider my collection now stands at 2,999 2,299 games.

If my little lady comes though, Deadly Premonition will likely be number 2,300.

Luigi's Mansion 2 is rather wonderful.  Also ... I love the music in it so much.  I normally play games with the sound muted or way down because I have so much better music to be listening to.  But this one ... I've had the game paused for close to an hour now whilst having breakfast and I'm loving the music so much.
