A friend of mine wants a new PC so I think I may sell him mine and build a new one. At the very least I'm giving him my tower itself so I'm picking up this one here. I love the cable management and the whole setup is perfect with air flow, component placement, etc. Plenty of room for ANY graphics cards or whatever else.

Weekend game deals courtesy of PC Gamer:
Steam
Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD released today at a 30% discount, and Steam has also put together an Oddboxx bundle with all of the Oddworld games for 10.49. Also, Train Simulator 2013.
GameStop
GameStop continues to cross off every price it can, but digging through its pages of sales this week revealed some pretty darn good stuff. Here are some of my favorites:
Good Old Games
Aside from 10% off FTL: Faster Than Light, GOG has its usual themed sale. This weekend, it’s all D&D deals…wait, what’s this?! *Spit take.* Something new for GOG: the discounts scale with the number of games you buy. At one game, you’ll get 30% off, buy two and get 33% off each, and so on up to all nine games for 65% off each. *Cleans up spit.*
Links to the individual games are below, but if you want the scaling deal, you have to go to the hub.
Amazon
The Over-The-Top TopWare BundleRegular Amazon is way less fun than Labor Day Amazon — it’s pretty much back to the same ‘ol, with games like Modern Warfare 2 and Civilization V on sale again. There is a new bundle sale, at least: the Over-The-Top TopWare Bundle includes 13 games. You probably don’t want all 13.
85% off The Over-The-Top TopWare Bundle – $14.99
Coolermaster makes great PC cases, just don't buy anything that Cyberpower makes. They make horrible pre builts.
Silent Hill is done, its more of a cinematic experience than a game. I was expecting something way more fucked up for the ending, this game is so nice for a SH game, easily the most peaceful SH ever. I did start over and I love the new slutty Cybill. I have been to different rooms but its the same thing, find object that has arrow pointing at it to unlock door.
Cinematic experience? Did we play the same game?
So after beating Paper Mario. +so good+ I said (after researching possible other games to start), "Fuckit, I'm going to play Paper Mario Gamecube".
So far. AWESOME. Going from N64 to Gamecube is like jumping two generations into the future. It looks amazing. I still miss the human-sized N64 controller, but other than that I feel like I've got a brand new console.
So that's what I'll be playing for the next 30 hours or so.
I'm convinced that it's a Wii up-port. I am sure I saw it listed ageeeeeees ago for Wii 1.
"The chases are a chaotic mess where there is little to no strategy at all except just get away " Jesus Christ.
I don't really have time right now to type up a reply, check the thread, all my impressions are there. Most people in our thread who played it liked it. Online there was a mixed reaction, the game is divise for reviewers and gamers. Reviews went from 9/10 to 6/10 and gamers either loved or hated it. From what I read on GAF, the Silent Hill die hards did not like it, the people who treated it as a new game loved it. In terms of your argument about comparisons to past Silent Hill's I have no point of reference so I cannot agree or disagree with them. All I know is that I greatly enjoyed Shattered Memories, I just wish it was 3 hours longer. But I replayed it's 5 hrs several times because of the differences when you play again - which are minor but welcome.
"the chases got easy for you cause they just repeat over and over" the chases got easy for me because I wasn't a headless chicken who kept getting caught like multiple reviewers/GAF users who cried like babies. On my 3rd run as I posted in my post before this, they got harder and more brutal.
You never played TTYD before? If not, keep at it, it's bloody brilliant.
If I recall, GG and I had different opinions on which is better, Paper Mario or TTYD. Probably because I played the original first and he experienced TTYD first. TTYD is brilliant, but to me, nothing beats the high of playing PM for the first time nearly a decade and a half ago.
BUGSIE!!
When Fractured Soul comes to your e-shop (3DS) --IF-- it hasn't already, you --MUST-- get this game!! It's got elements of Mighty Switch Force with a bit of Contra thrown in for good measure!
It also calls to mind Outland (for some reason). It's not that it has color changing elements, but the jumping between screens mechanic REMINDS me of Outland's color-changing in it's platforming...
You'd just have to play it to see what I am talking about.
Silent Hill Wii was a cool game, but it definitely didn't match the originals. I think it was the best one since SH3 though.
My body is ready:
"We're gonna give you...ya know, TONS of that air. Don't Worry about it." --Regginator
I think Strangers Wrath may be my next game after Batman is done. I just turned it on quick to see if the HD update got applied, and it just ozzes cool right on the start menu.
Can't believe I missed this one back in 2005. That was a really good year for games, in a quirky kind of way.
"Let me tell you, that bitch was SO ugly, my dick was about this big" ----Regginator
"hahahaha....my dick is always about that big...hahahaha" ---Miyamoto
I'm giving it a shot as well, I hated how the original port turned out but they seem to have fixed EVERYTHING.
On the chases can you do something other than run? I know they have the hide in something which there is only like 4 of those the entire game and they are completely useless cause the second you leave the room its the same thing. Getting a flare is the closest thing to strategy. Other than that you just need to know where to go which isnt hard after a while. These play out exactly the same over and over. I am not saying they are hard, I am saying there is nothing there gameplay wise except run.
This "game" is more like Heavy Rain except HR actually had far more things for the player to, but the same simplistic thing. Its a guided cinematic experience. If you want a stress free experience where you have a story told for you while you do trivial actions on a controller then yes this "game" is for you. Anyone wanting an actual game to play will be disappointed.
And again the story is very basic and almost PG13.
