Heh... how did I not see that? Took a painkiller earlier tonight. Clerly it shows.
Ever made a painkiller-infused vodka?
VF5 FS is so much fun online! If anyone wants to get beat up by me let me know. Game is FREE for Plus so you have no excuse.
LOL at the next gen FF video. It would take Square 7 years to make and probably bankrupt them.
Look how perfect these hands are. Like they have never touched dirt, or a hard days work.
I'm right here.
But I really don't mind analog or IR aiming. The problem with IR aiming though, is that not many people seem to be able to nail it...and even when they do, it still doesn't match mouse aiming. Analog aiming is just more comfortable than IR on the hands, even though its not as accurate as IR or mouse.
On whether or not Nintendo believes that the Wii U audience is the same group as the Wii audience:
Nintendo is targeting a wide audience for Wii U, “but I want to make the important addition that we are powering up with the Wii U. There’s sort of this attitude that Nintendo is targeting more casual consumers, but actually we’re more interested in making games for people who really love games.”
- Nintendo wants third-parties to feel excited about making games for Wii U as well

You never tried Conduit or Black Ops Wii?
As crap as Black Ops Wii is, they really, really nailed the controls, particularly the ADS. You have to tweak the turning speed in the options, everything else is near perfect.
I was talking only of digital purchase transfers. Obviously PSN and XBLA accounts and related scores/ trophies will be carried over.
World at War on Wii was good in that way as well. Despite the poor design and graphics the controls made it more engaging than with a regular controller.

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
This Project P-100 footage makes it look pretty neat. Not a system seller but I'd get it if I ever got a WiiU. Check 7 mins in too.

It was okay at the time but WaW controls are really crap compared to the best on Wii. Even Goldeneye controls aren't very good compared to Black Ops, MOHH2 or Conduit.
From what I read, only Gearbox seem to be interested in improving their Wii U version over and above the other versions. Probably because Demiurge prototyped it and then made the game - one would assume from a fairly ground up perspective.
The producer of ZombiU said:
GamesBeat: Is it a realistic zombie, or a…?
Poix: Realistic, totally realistic. And the horsepower of the console is really there to push the limits.
GamesBeat: So it’s more hardcore, it’s not casual?
Poix: No, it’s totally hardcore. Yeah, sorry, totally hardcore.
So what was everyone's best of E3? Mine was Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed 3. I was surprised since I hated Revelations and didn't finish it too.
All the first party conferences didn't do much for me. Although that Heavy Rain redux thing has extremely impressive graphics.
And while WiiU is getting a lot of hate I think the launch line up is as solid as you could expect. Decent amount of big name ports and the occasional exclusive. I don't think anyone seriously expected some game rivaling the absolute best on other platforms to show up on launch and therefor bomb on a system with zero install base, it'll probably go much like the 3DS, a slow start and then the occasional big game showing up and making the platform gain steam. Which doesn't mean they didn't learn from the 3DS, it's just how things will go. if they learnt anything it will be the pricing and marketing issues.
But I do have to say I was mostly disappointed too, before the showing I was leaning toward getting a WiiU (on top of PC) for next gen, now I'm back to 100% wait and see approach, as everyone should be I guess, since they didn't even show a glimpse of what's ahead of the launch in terms of exclusive top tier software (ie, 3D Mario, Retro Studios game, etc).
NintendoLand seems neat after the dev roundtable details but I dunno if it'll work out like Wii Sports. I'm sure the 3DS software reel will be better too, it sure can't be worse. Last chance for Monster Hunter 3G too.

Anything Ubisoft was good for me.
Halo 4 looked solid.
Wii U will have a good launch lineup, Rayman, Ass Creed 3, ZombiU, Pikmin 3, NSMBU - bare minimum 5 good games, you can't ask for more for launch day right?
What happened to this 3DS conference? Is it today?
