And. I think my week and a half long gaming drought has come to an end. Started Morrowind tonight. When that opening music kicks in, it's so ... I dunno...
I think Geek mentioned last week that he didn;t think there was a quest log in the game. There is, it's the white button. I did not think there was one, but this time I am actually reading the instructions.

The quest log sucks compared to Oblivion's, though. Wait until you get deeper into the game and just try to make sense of anything in there.

Yes I did. I didn't see your comment until now. Yeah I found that secret boss easier than most of the others in the game....you just have to keep moving. I like the way they did that though...nice touch.

Just the nature of the beast. Usually long post when I explain things get 1 + at best. Post where I am trolling and attacking people personally get at least 4 +'s. I liked the minuses. It was sort of a badge of honor when you could get a -4 for a well thought out post.

As the one who disabled it, I can say that wasn't an accurate description (no offense, bugs). It was disabled because of pissing matches over who downvoted what, and essentially it not being worth the hassle of people not being able to handle a system with numerical criticism. It was not disabled due to bullying. Why can't we dish it out anymore? Because people couldn't take it.

A side note is that conceptually the benefit of having negative votes is essentially to naturally moderate trolls, but since we don't really have that problem in the first place, that function was never put to use.

Agnates you're pointing out facts to things I'm not even saying. First of all I clearly said that I never played the game but from what I've seen it just doesn't interest me. Saying that I'm not interested in playing a game hardly qualifies as throwing my opinion around as "informed". "Meh" is the very definition of not being interested in something so if I'm not interested in it then of course I'm going to think it's "meh". Second my comment was more in response to Edge's comment that Goldeneye's campaign destroys CoD's. I clearly stated that while I never played Goldeneye I thought the CoD games have had excellent campaigns. That's hardly jumping to the defense of the journalist in question. It may not have been a comment that covered the whole topic but it certainly was an aspect of it.
