I'm on to Spirit Tracks and Infamous (God, I've got to finish this one.) Infamous is longer than I thought it would be and the floaty controls have turned me off. I guess the refined platforming mechanincs like in Assassin's Creed have me spoiled. I'm still gonna finish this, but it's taking a lot longer than expected.
Spirit Tracks is difficult and cumbersome at times. I love the dungeons so far, but the train and flute mechanics flat out suck. I guess my old DS Lite mic isn't helping matters and I wish we had another option rather than blowing into the piece of crap. I admire Nintendo for trying something different with the DS titles, but it's lost it's joy, especially after the first fucking tune became so damn difficult. And holy crap, the train mechanics take some getting used to, having to almost stop on a dime to depart off the train. I don't want to be spoon fed, but the frustration of just moving from one area to another feels unnecasary. I'm moving on to the second dungeun at the moment, armed with a cannon.
Travo is officially broke this month with unexpected medical bills so backlog time, Here I come! After I perfect LA Noire, I'm gonna finish off Portal, Half Life Episodes 1 and 2 and ...um...Brutal Legend. Plus I have the God of War series on PS3 to get through. A money drought is just what I needed.
I don't understand what you mean by floaty controls in Infamous. I thought the controls were quite precise.

"The “spiritual” sequel to the amazing Rez is on sale at Amazon for $35 today."
I would never claim there to be nothing for me to play on any console besides the Wii.
The other consoles and the PC have almost TOO MUCH to play, but the Wii? No..... not for the kinds of games I want anyway.
The thing is, I really don't want to buy another Wii. Its still over $150 plus tax, which I'm sorry, is a ripoff. However, if Nintendo had said Last Story and Xenoblade would be released with Zelda, say, September...October, and another November, I would have bought another one. I still have Metroid and Donkey Kong to play too, after all. But now, I will just wait for the Wii 2 and see what happens with that.
Not for me. I'm always missing cables or ledges because I overshooot.
When I overshoot, it usually means taking out someone's eye.
So, no protein shake that day?
Dude that stings..... not that I'd know.
That's weird. I wonder what the difference was. You've got the gliding power right? It makes it easy to correct your direction.
....What the fuck is going on here?
Best description of that game.
So I started playing Borderlands on PC. This game is fucking awesome! A loot collecting open world FPS with RPG elements. It reminds me of Red Steel 2, if Red Steel 2 was fun. Mostly because of the graphics and the isolated feel.
This is why America doesn't get many Wii games.
Jesus Christ Nintendo!
Just had to hack my Wii in 25 steps just to be able to access the Wii Shop Chanel!
Smart move dumbasses, someone is using homebrew, Quick let's make it difficult for people to buy our stuff!
Fucking retards!
Now I can buy Chrono Trigger, I have 400 points left, but I can trade in stars for points, so another free game is mine. NOE is awesome!
Downloading Chrono Trigger right now. It costs 100 points (900 points instead of 800) more expensive here in Europe, but a small price to pay.
I remember back in 1995 being hyped for this game, but it was never released over here. And back then the converters never worked with these newer games because Nintendo was actively trying to stop people from playing imported titles.
Now 16 years later, I can finally play it.
Going to try it out now, later
I don't get why a company would try to stop us from playing imported games, if they have no intention of releasing them anyway. Very lame.
Anyway....
Nintendo's "very happy and excited" about FPS Wii U 'changes the way we play first-person shooters'
I wonder if Nintendo is happy and excited about the Wii U changing the way we also play JRPG's? It would be amazing if it enabled gamers around the world to experience this satisfying form of software!
