Even the title screen visuals put many 3rd party devs to shame, Shinen really know their way around the Wii GPU. Anyway this is a puzzle game that can be understood in seconds and yet is very addictive and satisfying to play.

You basically have a bunch of shaped blocks which you have to arrange and balance over a bowl of water. If your tower falls you fail, it has to balance for 3 long seconds. It also has a co-op and splitscreen mode.

It has a realistic physics engine and is satisfying to play. Also the demo is really generous and there are 10 or so levels to play, the real game has 100 levels. I may buy this. Watch the trailer:

And Dive the Medes Island Secret which uses the Nyxquest engine. Visuals are beautiful, they use various planes in the back and foreground to great effect.

They really took a lot of influence from Endless Ocean, it has the same atmosphere, relaxed music, even the same sort of user interface. You can use a spear gun, the little guy follows your cursor and you hunt for treasures and make your way through levels. It also is fairly reminiscent of a non-annoying Ecco the Dolphin. If I could be assured of level variety it might be a buy.

I have a hard time believing anything IGN says.

So 3DS devs seem to be gettin their shit together. Madden sevs say they are using the next gen models for their 3DS game. Also this baseball game has improved.
