He is coming west, he is going to find the most western developer and make love to them.
My wii is so much longer and thicker! Its hard to hold it sometimes.
Motion plus is ok in this game, I dont feel like it is adding anything special to the game. Graphically one of the best looking games on the wii. The game itself is pretty average at the moment. Combat is not that great and the structure is kind of a pain, do an objective then go back to get another one. Hopefully it gets better.
Combat gets better when you get more (there are quite a few) special moves and learn how and when to use them. Also when it starts throwing enemies that can do strong attack combos (the type of hit you need to block with the opposite direction, vertical or horizontal, rather than just hold A, they get a red glow when they're doing it) and mixes and matches their type with ranged and melee and armored or not etc, so you start considering who to kill first and how and who to move on to next to take them all out fast and efficiently. Although the parry is overpowered once you get it and it bypasses that parenthesis. It's like Zelda on steroids, lock on a dude, press A with directions to dodge strafe and swing to attack their behind, but also use lots of special moves and finishers. You'll want to set the lock on button to manual so that you can also press it outside combat to lock the camera so you can slash straight and destroy objects etc rather than try to swing and have it move the camera around with it being free still. The structure of the game remains similar throughout, just a bit more open perhaps and with some backtracking etc. But don't expect anything radical, it's basically a brawler (but do use the guns, the pointer is nice and smooth like Metroid Prime 3 but also has the options of The Conduit on top). But if the combat never grows on you give up, it doesn't offer anything outside that. I loved it, more games should take after Zelda melee.

zombies heck yeah its official goldeneye is now worthless next to black ops
Let's wait and see how it all is first, having them as bullet points doesn't mean they're done well as in previous titles. It's essentially a new COD for Wii despite trying to have similar features and content to the HD versions so for all we know the levels, models, etc, suck depending on who made them and what resources Activision provided/allowed. It's not a mere port of what's bound to be good content from the main development team. At least that's what they've said, though there are conflicting mentions like when they say it has "all maps" as if it has the same as the other versions. Or it could mean they have an equal number of maps with the same names and settings but again recreated specifically for the Wii. I dunno, we'll see when they reveal it I guess. The single player campaign probably loses out to Goldeneye having no real AI and being a shooting gallery as usual for COD. Obviously many COD fans are all about the online with how short the campaigns in COD games are but that doesn't mean people don't also want compelling single player FPS games. They're after all action games with a first person camera, plenty single player action games perform well so they're still wanted. It's what I've been hoping they get right in Goldeneye with the dificulties, objectives and AI tuned to allow stealth etc most of all. Although 4 player split screen (or possibly any split screen at all?) isn't likely to be included in Black Ops either so that's gonna be a reason to choose Goldeneye for multiplayer as well for many (though not most of us here I imagine).

Well I never give up on a game unless its one of the worst games I have ever played. But we have a long way to get there. Seems good, I am sure I will enjoy it but I doubt it can match up to the best action games. I am going to play more of it now. Much more impressions later.
And even then, you finish Sonic games.
That is a life choice.
Agnates is right, the combat get better the more moves you get. Be sure to play on Ninja difficulty Vader, so much better the game becomes. The enemies do not become bullet sponges, but they do become more aggressive.
And compared to other action games. No point in comparing them, RS2 is very different than all other games. It is first person and it feels more like proper sword fighting. Plus it is by Ubisoft, they are nowhere as good as Kamiya. I am glad that they did not fuck it up again. Well they did marketing wise, but I digress.
Basically it is a good game. An very good first try that needs to be taken further. And it will one Zelda comes out.
Oh and it is definitely better than MadWorld. No arguments there.
PS360 Castlevania down to half-price already. Wasn't it released less than a month ago? Soon it will be down to my level of hobo and I will buy it as I'm sure it's a good enough game even if essentially a god of war clone

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
Wow. Half price already? With this and Metroid I wonder what the boardroom reaction from japan will be to giving these hallowed franchises to western devs.
I guess that would be EPIC?
Metroid?! Have you been drinking again? What has Metroid Prime trilogy made by Retro to do with Caslevania?
Knew it!
I played some more of Vindictus, a training mission showing how you leave town and pick where to go. It was nice enough, a lot like MH or Guild Wars. You go to the docks area from the city, there are docks to different places like rookie area, fishing boats, whatever, then with menu pop ups you either see already open boats waiting for more players within each dock or launch your own boat and choose how many players will be on it, your exact destination/mission and either wait for more or go right away. It could become a pretty good game eventually.
