Demons Souls a success
By far the most significant of these was Kim's admission that, despite great strides companies like Sony has made over the past decade in the art of localization, it's far from a perfect process. As an example, he touched on last year's surprise sleeper RPG hit, Demon's Souls. The From-developed dungeon crawler was expected to be a tiny niche project, with initial shipments of 15,000 copies. Yet it became a breakout through word-of-mouth, with current sales closing in on a quarter of a million.
Harvest Moon on the PC? AAAHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Believe it or not I'm not really behind this idea, at least not as a gamer. I understand their motivation, Farmville after all has freakishly become the biggest game in the world for the Facebook community. And dammit they were the real farming game first. They want a piece of that Facebook pie!
That being said, I wouldn't touch Farmville and I really don't think I'd want to touch a Harvest Moon game modeled after Farmville. Then again perhaps I should be a little more open. HM console games have not been so good in recent years. Lord knows the series needs some kind of change. Maybe this is it, but probably not it.
Damn. 250k. And I couldn't manage to nab one lousy copy of ll those 250k.
it's still in print. it seems like the first atlus game (sorry sony it is an atlus game now) for which they made more than the initial pressing.
also as far as i know it wasn't an international release, it was merely a North America release. the game is still not out in Europe.
steel, there's at least 4 of those copies that have traveled all the way to cyprus ... you should have managed to get hold of one in mexico tsk tsk

I'm off, time to see if Crystal Bearers is a P.O.S or an under appreciated gem.
But I better go to gamefaqs and try and print off a game world map first

Oh shooooooooooot, gamefaqs has no map. Little help here. I probably wont start till I find a pic online.

Square though.... ugh, FF13 and Crystal Bearers have a few 5 or 6/10 reviews and then better ones. What's up with this?
There are no spoilers in there. I'm on my third playthrough.
Everywhere I went, they were sold out, with no word on when would they be expecting more copies.
Assholes.
i ordered from a canadian site (www.videogamesplus.ca). over time i found that just 1 game, doesn't get stopped at customs. 2 is kind of risky though there were times when the package skipped customs. For packages with 3 or more games i was always asked to pay a customs charge

Hell yeah Sony should have published Demon's Souls, for their stupidity it should go to 360 as well.
Yes please!
Its a fact that ever since 360 came out all game "journalists" seem to want is Elder Scrolls style RPG's, and top notch FF-style RPG's, though admittedly few and far between this gen, have gotten a lot of crap reviews seemingly just because they're not the cool thing to like anymore.
Lost Odyssey is every bit as good as Mass Effect or Elder Scrolls, yet you would never know it from the reviews. And just the fact that these games are called "J-RPG'S" these days, like they're some kind of inferior stepchild to REAL RPG'S, is a telling fact. Remember back in the day when they were all just RPG'S? With no retarded letter at the beginning to make them look like a waste of time?
Yay! More Kevin Sorbo voice overs!!!
High Voltage agree with Generic Conduit Criticisms
Gamers told them it looked generic when the first screenshots were released. Why didn't they fix it back then if they could?
