I have a bad feeling that one day, maybe many years down the road I will be apologizing to GG for not buying these games sooner.
Blaster Master is fine, it's not Metroid level though, it's not Castlevania level, its like a second tier version of those games. I will explain it all in the podcast.
Games suck.
Let me take this in a glass-half-full angle. It can mean that these mega-corporations that buy out the smaller studios are doomed to failure, so we won't see the industry monopolized, and/or that ActivisionBlizzard being run under the rule of "people should be miserable" is getting the results it deserves.

I was quite impressed with the Halo reach webdoc. It makes Halo 3 look like some stop gap measure. Is it going to be the last true Halo game that Bungie do? From what the guy was saying, it sounds like it.

You think that people make good games so that you can just sweep them under the rug and ignore them? There are good people, good games-making-people, that are breaking their backs day and night to make good games. And then little men like you just spit on them, spit on them and grind them to dust under their feet because its easy.
So sure, crush a mans dreams, use your gold plated shoes to squash the salary of poor working man trying to feed his family.
But know this. Know that whenever you do, I, Bookman will be watching, watching and waiting for that one moment when your shoes come off. And then, that day, you will be sorry.

The other 4 however, I enjoy each of them for such different reasons, I CANNOT decide which ONE I want to focus on!
Logic tells me I should finish Dante's quickly 'cause once I play GoW3, I'll never go back to it, but the others are sooo good too, and I haven't played many games like them lately!
I haven't even opened BioShock 2 yet... I don't think I am going to anytime soon!
This is a very good thing!
I LOVED the PSOne game; I played it sooo much, trying to get by an arena battle sooo many times, grinding and collecting materials for a certain type of ring (I think)... that by the time I actually got to the Last Boss(es), I plowed through them without breaking a sweat! That battle was the easiest RPG last battle of all time for me!
I like the graphics, I like the battle system, I like the skill sets (alchemy/harvesting/cooking/etc.), the characters seem more old-school and likable to me than the PS2 game... I finished it on PS2, but except for the "shocking" ending, I don't remember much about it at all!
