Yeah we had two locks here. The donkey thread was locked because it was brought back from the dead with no reason, and the racism thread was locked because of a personal request. (Leo can you PM me, I still do not know what went on?)
But we never had a lock because of fights or fanboyism. I actually read that thread and it was a mess. You had people calling people with other opinions fanboys and you had a member of the SDF that was butthurt that some people thought Uncharted 2 was not the second coming of Christ.
I was never invited, but I can still post there. Never did though and probably never will.
You can post there because you're my little cuddly teddy bear in a sambo outfit. <3
Things are getting pretty fucked up, though. It saddens me to see so much vitriol and negativity in a place that was meant for kicking back and chill out.
Come sit down and tell Papa GG what happened.
Then ask my daughter in law Pinky when she's gifting me the Spooky wallpaper.
Do I have to sit in your lap? There's a very suspicious bulge protruding from your nether regions.
Ah, it wasn't that much of a big deal. A thread where some criticism was made about Uncharted 2 was met with strong counterpoints, and things escalated in a nasty way. Nobody's fault, I guess, it's just the nature of having strong personalities posting freely without restrain.
*...REPEATEDLY*
WHEEEEEE!!!
My wife didn't get the wallpaper. I left her too little time to play AC because of Uncharted 2. Lol.
She has started to collect mushroom furniture, though.
And I had to buy again the fucking game because DRE's kept appearing every couple of fucking minutes. I don't even play the damn thing anymore! And I had to buy it twice? Fuck you nintendoooooooooooo!
You know the rules!
You're not my son????
You are evil. She has to wait till Oct 31st 2010 to play Halloween again.
I'm getting a big scratch on the disc now. Playing everyday for almost a year will do that
Keep telling that........
..... to your therapist.
Prince of Persia trailer basically looks like Pirates of the Carribean in the desert. . . without Johnny Depp. It's a DVD rental at best I think. I will admit it does look like they actually tried to make it tie in with the game, but I'm not sure that's necessarily a good thing.
My biggest gripe though is why is everyone speaking with an English accent? Fine, I get that they wanted a very white white guy in the lead role, without so much as a tan. Fine, no problem there. But if they're going to make him speak with an English accent.... could they have cast someone who could at have at least pretended they've been to England? Maybe even Europe. That's kind of close. Or maybe someone who at least watched a lot of Monty Python back in the day??
Now you mention it, Fedor actually looks like a little cuddly teddy bear

Japanese publisher Konami has released a forecast of its revenues for the six months ending September 30 with the top line prediction of an 82 per cent drop in profit compared to the previous year.
In total the company is expecting to collect JPY 114 billion (USD 1.26 billion) in revenue, down 22.5 per cent on the same period in 2008, while net income is predicted to come in at JPY 2.2 billion (USD 24.3 million), down from JPY 12 billion (USD 132.8 million) last year.
According to a financial statement the company is attributing the collapse to a quiet release period, with its major titles launching in the second half of its fiscal year - as well as unfavourable comparisons to last year's Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots release.
"Even though the figures for the consolidated business performance for the six months ended September 30, 2009 were approximate to the projected ones in all segments, net revenues and profits of the consolidated interim results are expected to decrease when compared with the figures corresponding to September 30, 2008, mainly due to factors such as the fact that main titles released by our Digital Entertainment segment for the current fiscal year were not scheduled to be released until the second half of the year while in the same period last year major titles, in particular, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, had already been released," it read.
The company's share price closed down today by 1.9 per cent as JPY 1641 (USD 18.16).
Well thank f***
US, November 3, 2009 - WiiWare is slowly becoming packed with content, especially in Japan where the service often sees four titles released in a single week. Wouldn't it be great to be able to try out some of those games before handing over your precious WiiPoints? Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata appears to think so!
During the Q&A session at a recent earnings briefing, Iwata told investors that Nintendo would begin a test program for WiiWare demos some time this month. The test will cover just a few titles.
According to Iwata, Nintendo is undertaking this test to see if it can get more players shopping on the Wii Shopping Channel. He admitted that the market for WiiWare and DSi Ware is currently small, with the Wii Shopping Channel and DSi Shop browsed only by people who already know the game they want to get.
Iwata also said that he doesn't feel demos are necessarily the solution to the problem. He may or may not be right, but we're sure some players would appreciate being able to try out certain WiiWare games in advance.
Nintendo hasn't officially announced this WiiWare demo program just yet, so we don't have specifics on titles or a start time frame. It's also unclear if the test will be limited to Japan, or if Nintendo will let the entire world take part.
Once we hear the specifics, we'll be sure and pass along the info to you.
Yeah I read a couple of pages, so much text wasted so pointlessly.
Scores are all over the place...
