My prediction makes the most sense, because Epic Mickey has to come out on the most epic of all consoles, and the PSP is just that! Read this article to find out why!
WarioWare Snapped: More like WankioHair Crapped!
It has often been said that Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is the greatest story ever told. In fact, several Islamic churches (Synagogues) are using Advent Children to replace the Koran because it is so much more relevant and true. It really is among the most influential and inspiring cinematic marvels of our time, joining such celluloid classics as Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare, Cool Runnings and Critters III to become an icon of film.
Seriously, what good is a well-made game if it looks like shit? The DS is incapable of producing good looking games, with most titles looking like they were made on a Sega Genesis or something. That's not what people want from their videogames! They want graphics. The PSP has ten hundred more graphics than the DS, making it the technologically superior system. Just compare Coded Arms to New Super Mario Bros. I think we can all agree which is the better looking, thus better playing, game (it is Coded Arms).
If you think that gameplay is somehow better than graphics, you really need to stop being so shallow. I am sick of gameplay whores who think that things can look like shit so long as they have clever mechanics, tight controls and fun ideas. That's certainly not what I got into gaming for, and anybody who truly cares about games being taken seriously as an art form would agree with me.
Did someone here write that last one?
i may avoid scribblenauts for the time being as i think it will be very annoying to play on my paranoid DS touch-screen

Really looking forward to Scribblenauts this week. Once again I'll guarantee it - the game will be a million seller before the end of the year. Make a note of it now because for everyone who said I'm wrong, I'll be throwing it in your face as soon as the press release for its sales are announced.
Bowser's Inside Story is a game I'm looking at, but probably won't pick up. I liked Superstar Saga enough, but never quite completed it as I got a little tired of it after a while. But god do I miss being able to play handheld games on a big screen. God bless you GBA Player. You were the greatest invention ever.
But frankly despite either of these games, I'll probably keep on playing Harvest Moon: Magical Melody with 20 minute runs of Muramasa in between. Harvest Moon games are pretty hard to pull me out of, so I think that's just one more testament to Muramasa's art. It's too pretty to put away for long.
They are good games but I think I hit franchise fatigue. Maybe if it was out in a year.
This week brings Scribblenauts, Need for Speed Shift, and Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story to North America, while Japan gets Ys Seven and a remake of Square Enix's SaGa 2.

I'm really curious to see how Overkill performs in Japan. I could see the Japanese populace being really into that game.
Wont the uber violence and swearing put them off? I dont know if this has been dubbed in Japanese or if they will even get the humour?
GTA always does well over there so I think they can handle it. Plus most of the violence is very over the top. Honestly I don't expect to do that well, but if it manages to sell 50K copies I won't be surprised in the slightest. A lot will depend on if it's dubbed or not. I think this may really strike a chord with the kind of gamers who are really into American stuff.
I thought that Japan didn't really take to really violent games though and this version of HOTD is really americanised....... by brits.
Jesus, I was bored so I popped over to GGD and got a face full of Carnage corner. I dont know how some of you stalwarts manage to read that shit daily and not have your brain explode.
LOST IN SHADOW IMPRESSIONS
Game of the show?? Maybe it doesn't qualify, but aside from the more obvious public choices from the show floor such as Muramasa, it's the game that most surprised and amazed me, along with having left that nagging feeling of anticipation that only another trailer, screenshot, or hands-on will cure. But enough of my rhetoric and hype...
Previously known as Tower of Shadow and changed just days ago to Lost in Shadow (likely due to a conflict with a very unrelated PSone game from the late '90s)—a welcome alteration, considering some of my only feedback from the initial showing was that the working name was pretty generic and uninspired for such a creative title, though it's still not quite as creative or avant garde as, say Chiaroscuro, which I timidly suggested—this is one of those high-concept, stylish games that is as brilliant as it is difficult to describe.
To look at still images or even the trailer, the game may appear to be a typical platformer, but the twist is that unlike simply manoeuvring a main character through a level, you are both directly and indirectly in control of a main figure plus the environment, which becomes a character of its own, making it more of an action-puzzle platformer. What? Exactly. In this game, you control the shadow of a boy as he climbs a mysterious tower, and as a being of the darkness, he can only interact with the shadows of things from the real world and foreground; such as jumping from the shadow of one ledge to another. That's the simple part. But by making the light sources a living part of the game that you can manipulate with the help of a winged sylph/navi/cursor you instantly add another dimension of game play and some very non-traditional characters to the mix. As we all know, light can sometimes cast some tricky illusions.
In one scene from my private demo that hasn't been shown in any trailer or screen shot that I've seen released, was a small city-type plaza with a number of street lampposts scattered around that each cast shadows in a different direction, similar to people sitting around a camp fire and each person's darkness points outward at a unique angle. By manipulating the light source(s), the playable landscape changed dramatically in real time. I'm all about games that take a new look at everyday concepts, so the possibilities immediately tickled me in places only shadows could find.
Visually, the game looks both surreal and whimsical, yet rustic in a medieval sort of way. My very first thought was to compare it to Ico (PS2) and its sequel because of its heavy use of ancient, abandoned stone masonry and grand architecture that evokes a certain emotional response that tries to connect with whatever civilisation left it behind...plus a touch more steampunk. Even the name subtly alludes to Colossus. At least Lost adds in some ethereal punch in the colour department with its appealing gradient hues; something lacking in its spiritual siblings on the PS2.
But while there's something in the air that seems to connect Team Ico's games to Lost in Shadow by sight and tone, they're vastly different games, and in fact Lost in Shadow seems to have just as much in common with something like the Oddworld series or Zack & Wiki when it comes to actual gameplay: puzzles, platforming and non-traditional character usage. However, because Ico is on a very short list of games that to me are all-time masterpieces—pinnacles of the medium—to draw any comparisons really tugs on my heartstrings, which fills me both with hope and scepticism; enough so that it was my only other feedback to Hudson: pleeeeease take your time to polish this into the gem I know it can be.
